I recently had a disappointing experience with Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington. My car was ready for pickup at 2 PM after servicing, but I didn’t receive a call until 5:30 PM—just 30 minutes befo Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington. My car was ready for pickup at 2 PM after servicing, but I didn’t receive a call until 5:30 PM—just 30 minutes before closing. Since I couldn’t get there in time, I asked if they could arrange an Uber from my job the next day. I was told they only accommodate rides within a 15-mile radius. According to Google Maps, my job was 20 miles away, but the Uber app calculated it as only 13 miles, which makes their explanation confusing and frustrating. I’m originally from New Jersey and purchased my vehicle from Mercedes-Benz of Paramus, where I’ve never experienced anything like this. The service at Fort Washington felt impersonal and dismissive by comparison. When I arrived to pick up my car (after arranging my own Uber), I walked into the service center and was completely ignored. No one greeted me or offered help—everyone seemed glued to their phones. I had to stand awkwardly by the wall until someone finally acknowledged me. At that point, I just wanted to take my car and leave. This experience left a bad taste, and although I had been planning to upgrade my vehicle with Mercedes this year, I’ll now be looking elsewhere. Exceptional service matters—and unfortunately, I didn’t receive it here. More

Since I purchased my Mercedes three years I have been extremely happy with the vehicle and the (pricey) service. HOWEVER, last fall I tried to acquire prepaid service. When I used my last such service I wanted to speak to the credit staff and I was told they were busy so I asked them to call me at their convenience. I made THREE additional calls and no response. When I was at the dealership last for service I mentioned this to the service rep who then sent an e-mail to them. When service was nearing completion he asked if things were taken care of and I replied that there was no word from them – it seems that they can work on credit for new cars or new customers but don’t care otherwise. I have two calls in this year, one last week and the dealer’s receptionist kindly apologized but it was not her fault that the people responsible do not c are. While I was on the phone with her she sent them another e-mail that I was coming in for service this week and to contact me – guess what, no call – do they even exist? More
