Purchased a pre owned 2015 cls , my salesman was great did everything well , my issue is Mercedes’ claimed that this vehicle mechanically was clear , but this wasn’t true , by the time I reached home ther did everything well , my issue is Mercedes’ claimed that this vehicle mechanically was clear , but this wasn’t true , by the time I reached home there was coolant on the floor in my garage the 3 turbo lines needed replacing the car needed tie rods right motor mount , the oil was changed before delivery but air filter had leaves in it and coolant was dark brown, the left drl flickering ,air ducts torn this all in 2 days of have this car my over all experience has been terrible . I would never purchase another vehicle from this dealer , management was aware of all my needs but refused to help based on a $800 bank fee they paid , this work will cost me thousands to get just running , currently the car sits whiles trying to go through all the troubles this vehicle has , save yourself the trouble and purchase from an Autonation at least they give you a 3 month warranty .. As a former Mercedes employee I understand sales & the service depts . When moving here we owned2 MB's. One a 2006 E class diesel, & a 2012 4 matic Wagon. After moving here I had an issue with fuel deliv service depts . When moving here we owned2 MB's. One a 2006 E class diesel, & a 2012 4 matic Wagon. After moving here I had an issue with fuel delivery system in the diesel. Chapter 1 - My first visit they couldn't find any problem, but charged me $200 for looking.. A week later the same error message appeared. When I suggested checking the filter they must've had an AHA Moment & said it was clogged & charged me another $200.for what should have been a simple filter replacement. Chapter 2 During that visit I had asked a sales person to be notified if they ever tale in an ML with 4 matic. Gave my name & contact info. A couple months later while driving bye I see an ML 4Matic on the lot. The original sales person was busy & referred me another. A day later I bought it. Chapter 2.Havent heard from him since. Chapter 3 - Our wagons's interior wood trim has discolored & when asking to make an appt for an estimate to replace ( as part of a class action settlement ) they refused. Even when I requested an appt to see what replacing the trim would cost !! Said until they receive a recall notice they won't do anything- even if I'm a customer !! I don't know where these customers praising their sales & service come from. Just because its a Mercedes oil changes at $ $250 ? ( at all the dealers too ?) Having owned MB's for 30 years its always nice seeing some experienced hi level techs,which I haven't seen at either of these dealers. & seeing how they gouge service customers I'll look in other directions for good,honest service. I feel for that poor guy paying $6000 after the mgr showed him . May as well show him that bridge in Brooklyn. Mercedes are built to last. Components can fail but in the past MB has honored components even out of warranty or given some accomodations. More

A bit of anxiety on our part and returned to the dealership this afternoon and Finance Phil explained in detail how the process works. Walked out of the dealership relieved that all will work out. Took car in for "B" service on 04/04/2022. On inspection, a number of things were discovered that required immediate attention. And while I didn't notice the issues with driving, I knew that, On inspection, a number of things were discovered that required immediate attention. And while I didn't notice the issues with driving, I knew that, if true, the issues that the mechanics found would ultimately result in significant problems not too far down the road. Naturally, I was mortified at the cost of the discovered issues requiring repairs (engine mounts; worn drive belts and tensioner; re-seal front upper timing cover, magnets; O-rings and bolts) in addition to the normal service (oil change, replace transmission fluid and filter, etc.). I was not prepared to pay $6,000.00 for repairs on a vehicle with only 45K miles and routinely serviced! I balked and challenged the veracity of the needed repairs as a matter of principle. The service manager invited me in to discuss the repairs and to visually inspect the engine and engine housing so as to ease my mind (I am one that needs to see before I can believe. So often companies take advantage of their unsuspecting customers ignorance and, consequently, tend to price gouge -- giving "caveat emptor" new meaning!!). Having visually inspected the discovered issues and comparing them to the videos taken by the service personnel and my own photos prior to taking the car in for service, I felt better about the repairs needed (though this did not decrease my anxiety about the unexpected cost of the repairs) and reluctantly, though understandingly, approved the work. I am appreciative of the patience and empathy of the Service Department Manager and the supporting personnel. I look forward to many years of doing business with you guys. My only hope is that Mercedes/Daimler-Benz will return to building cars as sound as the Mercedes Benz fleet of the 60s and 70s. Those cars were tanks and soundly built!
