The only thing lacking is information and a class about using the GPS. I Understand time is important to your employees, but I feel there there is not time to help a laymen. Service representative was not reliable or forthright. My wife and I were told two different things on more than one occasion. Further, after paying several hundred dollars for services I expected the car to be properly serviced. I was wrong and quite disappointed. Further, I learned of a manufacturers defect which was not taken care of when the car was there for service. My wife scheduled a time for the repair and was promised a loaner, but when the car was taken in, no loaner was made available. I asked a supervisor to call to discuss the matter and he or she has not bothered to take the time to call to date. I heard rumors that Mercedes was bought out and customer service was going down-hill. I agree. Unfortunately, I have a warranty and extra service agreement. But, if I have a choice in the future, I will go elsewhere. Side-note: I even bought the car at a different dealer because Encino Mercedes did not return my telephone calls. After the fact, I learned it did not matter because the car was more expensive in Encino then in Beverly Hills. Encino would not even price match to get my business. More
I purchased a new 2011 E350 from Mercedes-Benz of Encino. I was given 0.9% interest rate before I went to pick up the car. I was kept five hours at the dealership, told they were acting on my behalf, but ac I was given 0.9% interest rate before I went to pick up the car. I was kept five hours at the dealership, told they were acting on my behalf, but actually were working for their own benefit, switched me to a higher interest rate. I later discovered that Mercedes Benz of Encino was itself the Lender whereas they kep informing me for five hours that they were negotiating with the Lender on my behalf. I called Mercedes-Benz of Encino many times but received no reply. I requested the email of the General Sales Manager, and received no reply. I emailed my complaint to Mercedes-Benz of Encino through their website. I received no reply. Now, I find that the automatic gears of my new 2011 E350 do not shift properly. I WOULD NEVER BUY A MERCEDES AGAIN. More
My car would not shift out of park and needed gear shift lock replacement,after the dealer worked on it and I Paid $1045.00 my key-less go stopped working , I took it back, they wanted to charge me another lock replacement,after the dealer worked on it and I Paid $1045.00 my key-less go stopped working , I took it back, they wanted to charge me another $500.00 ,after bargaining with them they agreed to charg $200.00 ,they gave me the car back and said they have to wait for parts ? !!!! I don't know what part. It has been almost 3 weeks and They have not called me yet. More
I took my 06 G500 to Encino dealership for service. My car is still under warrenty, and the airconditioning system smelled when turned on. The dealership kept my car for 3 days without offering me a loane car is still under warrenty, and the airconditioning system smelled when turned on. The dealership kept my car for 3 days without offering me a loaner car, charged me $180.00 for that 10 minute service that should have been covered by Mercedez and the warrenty. there is a bulletin within mercedez that states aircondiotioning systems should be covered by warrenty since it is an internal system problem and is not a wear and tear issue. I believe Encino dealer ripped me off and the service person was rude and unhelpfull. I rate this dealer ship a -0 out of 10. More

I had been wanting to own a new Benz since I was twenty or twenty one years old, but it was not God's timing at the time, but I thank God often that although it took me nearly 30 years to get my first Benz, it was well worth it. My motto is "everyone in life at some points wants to drive and own a new Benz or BMW because they are the best cars in the world to own. If that was not true, then why would so many famous movie, t.v stars and sport stars own them. I started car shopping in November 2007 and after going to five dealers, Mercedes Benz of Encino, California was the best ever, followed closely by great service at Mercedes Benz of Torrance (South Bay). The worse service I received during my search was at Penske and Keyes. It was the great salesmanship of Greg Jarvis, former employee, Alex Taylor and Ryan Huffman that made it all worth it. They never once made me feel pressured to buy a car on the spot and unlike Penske, they did not ignore me based on the way I was casually dressed. I highly recommend Greg and Ryan any day and if I am still living in California in four-five years, I will buy my next Benz from them again. Also, I would like to point out the service department is also great, starting with Mr. Curtis Friedberg, Kevin Malone and Grace Garcia. Mr. Friedberg told me the over all cost of my first A-service, so I knew the exact amount to have in cash to pay, but also Kevin was nice enough to give me a loaner car (Free of charge) so I could make my youngest son's wedding. While waiting the lobby, the nice Latina Grace Garcia was great and very friendly. I truly enjoyed talking with her in Spanish and the fact that she is from Guatemala and now my daughter in-law is also. They have NO idea what they're doing. NEVER take your car here for service. They charged my wife triple what any other shop would charge, and they didn't even fix the problem.
