Bad service department. So I have had 2 issues with this dealer so far. I decided to ignore the first one for review but with this second one I will not. First the car is a brand new E400 convertible bought from their dealer. The rear view camera did not work which I told the dealer about 2 weeks after buying the car but I guess they don't log just a call they only log the problem when you bring the car in, and when I took it in I was told by the technician that the camera is not working because the car was in an accident. When I insisted the car has not been in an accident, that I bought the car from them new and the only way the car has been in an accident is if they sold me a new car that has had damage to it already. The guy calls me back and says don't worry about it we will fix it under warranty. which they did and it still does not work sometime. Today I had a flat tire, I go to discount tire and they tell me the wheel nut lock is missing and the only people who have worked on this car before is this dealer who have changed a wheel for me after hitting a bump. bottom line, they lost the nut lock and they want me to bring the car from La Jolla to El cajon so they can find out which lock it needs. According to the service manger they have 60 and they have to go through each one to find the right one, c'mon it's 2020 you mean you can't find the lock by VIN number? Seems too primitive to me, get with the program Mercedes. The best part the employees refuse to give you any owner email to complain. More
Service Rep Daniel is the best! I've dealt with Daniel for many years now. I was happy to see he is now a service rep. You can't get better service than with Daniel. Dishonest I bought a new car here and from the beginning have had negative experiences. When I first received the car it still had tape on the paint surfaces. I bought a new car here and from the beginning have had negative experiences. When I first received the car it still had tape on the paint surfaces. It was not inspected properly and was sold to me with a defective paint job. A year later I still have not been able to resolve this issue satisfactory. They damaged my car and of course deny damaging it. They overcharged me by over 100% on some accessories. Trying to resolve issues with Dan Collins, GM and Ernie Serrano the service and parts manager is an effort in futility. Best just to avoid this place. More

I dealt with the service advisor Franco Salazar who was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly to say the least. I expressed to Franco that I was short on time and he was able to prioritize my service quote and accommodate accordingly. In addition, the shuttle driver who helped me was an incredibly friendly and knowledgable employee as well although I cant quite remember his name. Its the small things that make the difference and this team made it seem like a white glove concierge service. I highly recommend using MB El Cajon. More
