Mercedes-Benz of Dublin

After having an amazing experience with Lexus and deciding to go that route, I dropped in to Dublin Mercedes just to peek around. I was immediately greeted and offered bottled water. When i returned from the ladies room, the sales manager and Sales Consultant Richard Norman, were waiting for me. They asked me key questions and got me into a car to "feel" it out and help me focus my search. I am exceedingly specific about my wants and needs. I am somewhat hard to please and this was my first luxury car purchase. Richard stayed by my side for 7 hours (even took me out for sushi). And brought every car out that i wanted to try and allowed me to drive them without him. While i was testing cars, he searched hard for a car that fit my specific interior design needs (bells and whistles and color combo) and when i returned, he had a car that he had pulled fresh off the truck just for me. Brand spankin new. 0 miles. I wasnt looking for a brand new car b/c i wanted a fully loaded car. He presented the car to me and handed me three options to deal...the deals were insane. I still needed a push. So i took the car home and when i returned the next day, I signed. There were some issues here and there, but my experience with Richard was A++. This is a straight shooting man. Being a young woman, I was concerned with forthrightness. Richard was professional, honest, open, and accomodating. I was ridiculously spoiled and allowed to be bratty. He never condescended and did back flips to work the deal I wanted. more than anything, he was direct. And while it took me aback at first, I grew to love it. I dont need to be jerked around. I dont need to be patronized or sold a product thats not for me. Tell me what you can do and then show me. He is amazing. I very rarely put my pen to paper to single someone out...but honor is given where it is due. If you are considering a buy or lease...mercedes or otherwise...ask for him- Richard Norman. He will do exceedingly abundantly more than you can think to ask. More

I tookk my 2000 s430 in for service and as usual, worked with Seth. He is a great service rep in that he is very knowledgeable and carefully explains the service being accomplished. While I was waiting during my car's service, I walked around the car lot and found an E350 that seemsd to be calling my name! Richard Norman came out and talked to me about the car. At that point I wasn't thinking of trading cars, but after working with Richard and the outstanding price offered on both the new car and my S430,I couldn't pass it up. When I picked the car up the next day, he thoroughly went over all of it's features so I felt confident in it's operation. I must say that Richard's exuberant personality made the trading of cars an extremely pleasurable event fot me. More

Let me tell you something-I buy and enjoy a lot of cars both new and used. My wife and I just happened to be taking a trip to Hocking Hills for a short get-away if you can relate. Anyway, I said lets have breakfast at First Watch and "maybe we'll look through Crown and MAG for the fun of it." Eye Candy 101--Lamborghini Gallardo. Okay, I have to look at this car wherein this voice comes through the air-"Isn't that car beautiful, thats all you, lets go for a ride-man, you have to drive this car." So, as I am greeted by Richard Norman on this 90 deg. Saturday morning, the fun started. We hit it off from the start and not to get roped in, he was just a genuinely nice guy that happened to be a car salesman. He's not the go to man for exotics(yet) but he does work with Ryan who is the "go to" guy for the detail. THe team worked well together. I wanted to buy, Ryan talked the detail of the cars and Richard was the deal maker which, simply put: He wants to sell cars to those that want to buy cars. Nothing over the top pushy, although he did send me about 10 pics of the Lambo as we were driving further south. I like that-straight communication, no BS just a nice salesman. Frankly, Richard could sell a lot of things and doesn't need much to go on as his personality shines. The deal on the Lamborghini didn't happen although I did stop by for another look and drive with my wife. About a week later, I stopped in after a business meeting--there it was Bentley Continental GT. Now, bear in mind, salesmen always have a way and I was laughing again. Letting my wife know that I was on my way home, although not fully disclosing that I had stopped one more time for a "look see" of the inventory. Anyway, long getting longer, I bought the GT, Richard and significant other delivered it to my house (130 miles away) and although I haven't been behind the wheel for many miles, life is about things that get to it. The car is great but the service was the best part. Thanks Ryan and Richard--you know I will return. More
