I’ve been going here for the past 7 years and recently gotten a new GLC300 to bring in for service. I would drive an hr to bring my vehicle in, Keenan Motors was that good. Ever since Faulkner took over t gotten a new GLC300 to bring in for service. I would drive an hr to bring my vehicle in, Keenan Motors was that good. Ever since Faulkner took over the service has plummeted. Over charging on services Keenan would of provided, lack of communication are among the few to name. The back seats interior wasn’t even vacuumed when I explicitly asked because I have car seats in the back. The quality of service has gone down, I would never return to this dealership. More
I had been a long time, customer and purchase multiple cars there. Unfortunately, the service department has really gone downhill… And talk to the general manager but to no avail. I have been a long-time Keenan Motors customer. Between my husband and myself, we've purchased at least 3 cars there, and leased at least 3-4 more. As others have said, not cheap, but I always felt Between my husband and myself, we've purchased at least 3 cars there, and leased at least 3-4 more. As others have said, not cheap, but I always felt they were fair, including service. However, since Faulkner purchased, things have declined. They now are charging for things that they didn't charge for at Keenan, (if you went in with a problem, and Keenan couldn't find it, they didn't charge you. Faulkner does. They even charge you if you're having other work done,) they nickel and dime you, and suggest all sorts of "necessary" or "recommended" service, such as replacing the battery in the key fob. When questioned about it, they said they had to click it twice to work so it must need to be replaced. They gave me a couple of page list of potential issues. They will no longer take a check (even though I've been a customer for 20+ years), and when I asked for a price on my current car, they told me $5k, which is less than my son got for a beat Subaru of the same year that cost half the price new. I'm looking for a new dealership. After being a long-time customer, I've had it. They treat you like you're trying to cheat them, when it seems to be the other way around. More
I have purchased multiple cars at this dealership. My last two service appointments here, we’re horrible. I brought a car in for an oil change, inspection and to replace the battery. They had the car My last two service appointments here, we’re horrible. I brought a car in for an oil change, inspection and to replace the battery. They had the car from 8 AM till 6 PM and I received no phone calls. At the end of the day when I showed up, they said they could not complete the inspection due to a chip in the windshield. When I asked about the battery replacement they said it was fine and therefore couldn’t be covered under warranty. I said it would be nice if you gave me the choice since it’s had problems starting with Left for a few days . when I picked up the car it was dirty, and I had a half scraped off the inspection sticker. I called the GM Kevin to complain, and all he offered was apologies. I showed up after having the windshield fixed by Safelite. And asked for them to find a new inspection sticker after an hour they came out and said they could not pass the car windshield, I showed him the certification from Safelite saying it was repaired and they said oh OK we can do it now. Another 45 minutes went by before they finally gave me my car back… So an hour and 45 minutes to scrape off a sticker and put a new one on Service here used to be great, not anymore. Time to go elsewhere More
I understand that what was Keenan Mercedes is now a Faulkner company, but this needs to be said, and some of the problem has carried over to the new management. In 15 years, I purchased three Benzes at Faulkner company, but this needs to be said, and some of the problem has carried over to the new management. In 15 years, I purchased three Benzes at Keenan, leased one, and had six serviced. My sales experiences were okay. No bargains, certainly, but not problematic. Service, however, was hit or miss from day one. My penultimate service experience was for a non-working backup camera on my CLS550. I suggested it was a broken wire when I brought in the car. After four visits over about six weeks, and ordering parts from Germany, I was told that the new camera the car needed was in, and that the part was $1,200. On installation day, I called and said I wanted the camera that was taken out. It was at that point that I was told the problem was just a disconnected wire, and that it was reconnected and the camera was working. Big red flag. Then I was charged $1,200 anyway for the hours spent by technicians failing to diagnose a simple problem in the first place. I paid it because I just wanted to get out of there before I had a public meltdown. I traded the car for a GLC300 a few weeks later (which I kept for less than a year), and never went back to Keenan (now MB of Doylestown). Further, one of the ABSOLUTE BEST people at Keenan service was let go, and one of the most obnoxious was actually promoted. Astounding. Very sad ending. More
The worst thing to happen to this dealership was the sale to Faulkner, who is the absolute worst dealership management company in all of PA, as proven by the lack of customer service skills exhibited by the to Faulkner, who is the absolute worst dealership management company in all of PA, as proven by the lack of customer service skills exhibited by the service department head, Andrea Smith. Having done business with Keenan for many years based on the level of service and kindness, professionalism, and excellent relationship skills of Keenan staff, we are disappointed to say that Faulkner is the reason car sales people have such a bad reputation. Brought mercedes in for an oil change and inspection - was told it would be one day. Asked if could have a loaner vehicle as we had done in the past. Sent us to Enterprise for vehicle. One day took fou was told it would be one day. Asked if could have a loaner vehicle as we had done in the past. Sent us to Enterprise for vehicle. One day took four days to get car finished. Enterprise charged $140 for vehicle loaner. Called Mercedes service dept. I was told by several people at Mercedes, including Andrea S - service manager - quote - "You should not have received that bill - we will take care of" - she said she would get a reimbursement or a check. 8 weeks later and multiple phone calls in which I was told the bill would be rectified - nothing. Won't even return my calls. Very disappointing for a place we liked and intended to continue to purchase and service our Mercedes. More
