Metry Shallop has been my service advisor for many years at Daytona Mercedes. Metry has ALWAYS taken care of my vehicles and me. He is a great employee. The last service visit was an emergency. The car had to be "transported". Joe Drewes managed to get it into the shop quickly and the quality of the work performed was excellent. I appreciate good work, but more importantly I appreciate when people deal honestly. Another Mercedes dealer stated tried to sell me a new wheel for my AMG (about $2K), stating that it was dented and resulte when people deal honestly. Another Mercedes dealer stated tried to sell me a new wheel for my AMG (about $2K), stating that it was dented and resulted in excessive road noise. MB/Daytona Beach not only provided a lower price, but inspected the wheels and could not find any such dent, saving me the cost except for inspection and tire balancing. Mercedes vehicles are not necessarily cheap to maintain, but I expect no one wants to be taken. For this reason, I can trust they will perform only the work that is necessary. And a special thank you to Metry Shallop for taking care of me! More
