BE VERY AWARE OF THIS COMPANY'S FINANCE personel, who's name is Tyson. My husband is a 26 years USAF Flight Cmdr., who have purchased 2 vehicles this year from sales person David & Chris Ex finance Person name is Tyson. My husband is a 26 years USAF Flight Cmdr., who have purchased 2 vehicles this year from sales person David & Chris Ex finance Personel, who is no longer at this dealership. April 2021 my husband both his second vehicle from this dealership with 3.99% offered by MBFS...He decided to purchase a vehicle today from David (Sales Person) the finance paper work was prepared while my husband was on his way to the dealership 3 hours away; He was called by ALLY Financial for questions regarding the purchase of the vehicle, so he called the dealership wondering why MBFS was not used as the finance company as he already have a vehicle financed by them with a+ Financing; the finance Personel Tyson said he got a interest rate of 7% + from MBFS; we didn't know what happened, but something seems out of order, so we called MBFS and they were not able to disclosed there position on the interest rate disclosed to the dealership, they said we needed to try and work out the interest rate with the dealership. My point is, my husband's ;ast vehicle was purchased only 5 months ago at the above interest rate of 3.99 now 7% +; the fact the the dealership have the ability to negotiate the interest rate the banks are offering, that clients do not have purview to is not good. none the less they have LOST a customer. to all who's reading this review, Please seek your financing elsewhere if you buy a vehicle at this dealership. They are taking much advantage of the limited production of vehicles and that may be ok, however, Character & Integrity does matter especially for our Veterans who have fought for them to have the freedom to sell a vehicle, instead the use every option to shack clients down. do your research.🇺🇸 More
BE AWARE OF THE FINANCING TACTICS OF Tyson the finance Personel of this company.1👎 I am a Veteran ; USAF-Commander 26 years; and I bought 2 vehicles from David at this dealership in the last 6 months. Personel of this company.1👎 I am a Veteran ; USAF-Commander 26 years; and I bought 2 vehicles from David at this dealership in the last 6 months...I attempted to purchase a third, "My Dream Car" on Saturday. Half way on a 3 hour drive I got called from a finance company requesting information to finance a vehicle for me; I asked the name of the finance company, they said Ally Financial; After having had both vehicles I purchased this year finance by MBFS with A+ Credit at 3.99% , This finance personnel at Mercedes Benz in Daytona ( Named Tyson) says to me, that my interest is now 7%+, so I called MBFS to inquire why the interest rate was twice the amount, they said that I was not purview to the interest rate they provide to the dealership, but that I would have to renegotiate the rates with the dealership. I agree they are in business to make money, however the vehicle I was going to purchase was listed at 73K +, which is worth give and take 65K-68K, so the already have a mark up of 5k + dealership fees 999.00 and pre-delivery cost ( what they have repaired or serviced on the vehicle), which no one will ever be able to prove they did anything. David had my trust and I valued his relationship, however when you know a client would literally drive 3 hours plus to do business with you on a third 3 occasion, I don't know but, that's TRUST, Why would any risk your Character & Integrity like this, especially knowing what this finance person could or is doing to your clients would have a direct impact on your credibility and client relationship; YOU HAVE LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER David; and I know, that you you are fully aware of this, Sometimes standing up and risking it all for what is right is worth it Sir, that's what I did ‘for Country’ Not Self. I would give a zero rating if I could but one star is the lowest possible. I have been a customer of this dealership for 13 years. My 2014 Mercedes 350E has 12,000 miles on it and the interior smells like lowest possible. I have been a customer of this dealership for 13 years. My 2014 Mercedes 350E has 12,000 miles on it and the interior smells like old tennis shoes. Mercedes Benz US has reached a legal settlement on this issue as it is a problem for mosts of the MB fleet, and under the settlement it is required to remediate the smell. Unfortunately, MB of Daytona has refused to remediate my vehicle under the legal settlement because "the cabin filter has not been replaced every two years." Suffice it to say that a vehicle with 12,000 miles on it should not have needed to replace the cabin filter yet and, if it should have been done, MB of Daytona should have done it. The vehicle has been serviced by them every year since I purchased it from them. I would not recommend this dealership for sales or for service, as their treatment of a long standing customer has been terrible. Roger C. More
