I took my clk 320 for a service and cost me $650. Service department cam up with excuse to increase the cost by $400 The reason they told me was that car would not start. I never had that problem and actually they start and moved car in service quo. I had no choose but to accept there repaire suggestion in order for me to be able to drive the car. I have been a longtime client of Lokey Mercedes Benz for years. Here is a list of my purchases from this dealer 2014 E350 4MATIC 2015 c300 2017 e300 2019 c300 4MATIC 2018 GLC43 AMG However my GLC 43 AMG was years. Here is a list of my purchases from this dealer 2014 E350 4MATIC 2015 c300 2017 e300 2019 c300 4MATIC 2018 GLC43 AMG However my GLC 43 AMG was sold to me with a backseat that had urine embedded in the leather. I couldn’t locate the smell and my car detailer who I paid $225 for identified the issue. I made Lokey Mercedes aware of the issue via multiple documented phone calls and emails. The management is akin to that of a Dollar General. They blamed me, said quote “why is that Lokey’s problem”, then I called the dealer main line to speak with a manager at today at 11/3/2020 4:25pm the gentleman that answered said “I don’t know how to transfer calls and you need to call back and ask for an operator” I mean what kind of “Mercedes” service is that? Did they recruit new people from a buy here pay here lot? Absolutely disappointed and will never purchase a vehicle from this criminals again. More
I saw an add on Facebook for a little red sports car. I filled out the contact info and within 10 minutes or less Ron Murray called me. I inquired about the SL15. He was very knowledgeable. I realized that car was not for me. I asked him to send me all of the convertibles that he had. Within minutes I received a complete and concise list that answered almost everything I needed to make a decision on what kind of car I wanted. I went to 4 other car dealerships, only because the other were in my area, before I got to Lokey Motors. I had narrowed my search down to 2 cars, both being at Lokey. Ron Murray treated me with respect and informed me of everything I needed to know about both cars. I then made my decision. He was helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, efficient and patient. He took the time to explain how to work everything in my new car, which I love it to death. I will advise my friends to deal with Lokey Motors in the future. Say HI to Ron for me. Buyers Beware On 6/12/20 I purchased a 2012 Lexus RX350 with 55K miles on it from salesman Paul Brown. Driving it home I felt a vibration in the steering wheel and On 6/12/20 I purchased a 2012 Lexus RX350 with 55K miles on it from salesman Paul Brown. Driving it home I felt a vibration in the steering wheel and called Paul. He advised me to take it and have front tires aligned and balanced. They were fine but still had vibration. Paul advised me to call their service department for appointment. On the 16th I took the car into Lokey Infinity. Their service tech. Vinny Ambrosino recommended that all motor and transmission mounts be replaced. This is written on his service ticket. When I was looking at the car originally I noticed a dent on the right rear bumper. I was cleaning the car and then noticed a split on the left side of the bumper. I know that will continue to get worse. Their dealership advertises that every car that they sell is inspected before you purchase it. An honest reputable company would make those needed repairs before selling. I purchased a Lexus because they have such a good record of reliability. Because of the problems I had found I asked a friend (David) go with me to talk to the dealership. Paul Brown met us at the door. We explained the problems and he said that the car should never have left the dealership that way.. He leaves the room to speak with a manager. After a while, a henchman enters, He did not introduce himself, and started telling us that the motor and transmission mounts do not need to be replaced but because of the age of the car they all have slop in them. Continued to repeat that very loudly, his face red and contorted. David asked him to come out and look at the car, he did, and then kept repeating that we needed to upgrade to a newer model car. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and have never had any problems like this with buying a car or being treated so disrespectfully. We did not talk to them badly, just asked them to please repair the car. I am so sorry that I didn’t read the reviews before buying there. . More
I recently purchased a 2012 740LI BMW and it was shipped to me to Durham, North Carolina on this week. I am having issues with the rear window shade not working properly and also the driver side back window to me to Durham, North Carolina on this week. My sales associate was Carlin and I asked several times since I was in North Carolina about the vehicle and he stated everything checked out ok! This is a big concern because if I was there physically to check out the vehicle first hand I would of definitely noticed this issue and possibly would of decline from purchasing the vehicle if I knew this wouldn’t of been working properly prior to me purchasing the vehicle! I spoke with the Director , Carlin and also an assistant manager about this who wasn’t very supportive and didn’t sound really concerned since now the car is my possession. Is this how service is provided at your dealership ? BEWARE OF DEALERSHIP More
My sales person was Ron Murray. He did an excellent job with getting me the deal I wanted. I didnt want to come into the dealership to test drive a vehicle. I knew what I wanted and I just wanted him to ca with getting me the deal I wanted. I didnt want to come into the dealership to test drive a vehicle.
