Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about the clowns at this dealership. Sent my wife home in someone else’s vehicle and gave hers to another couple. What a joke! I recently had a very unfortunate experience at Dealership Mercedes of Clearwater while purchasing my vehicle, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. My interactions with the salesperson, Dealership Mercedes of Clearwater while purchasing my vehicle, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. My interactions with the salesperson, Greig Larsen, were particularly troubling. He displayed aggressive and rude behavior throughout the process, which made me uncomfortable. To start, the car I wanted to buy was shown to me in a very dirty condition, preventing me from seeing any flaws. Once I signed the contract, the experience worsened. Greig refused to provide a temporary paper tag and instead suggested I write "Lost Tag" on a piece of paper to drive home — this is not only improper but could be considered illegal. I had to ask multiple times if Mercedes would detail and wash my car before taking delivery. Eventually, he returned the car washed, but it was already dark, which meant I couldn’t properly inspect it. Additionally, I had to remind him to fill the gas tank, which he did—but with regular 87 gas instead of the required premium 92 gas. When I raised concerns about this, he dismissed it, claiming it wouldn’t matter, despite knowing that using regular gas could damage the engine. Furthermore, upon arriving at a gas station, I discovered several small dents that were hidden by the dirt on the car. While Greig assured me that the dealership would take care of these damages, I later learned that since I had no written confirmation, they refused to fix them. Overall, this experience has been incredibly frustrating. I expected far better service from a prestigious brand like Mercedes. I urge anyone considering buying from this dealership to proceed with caution. More
