Have a 2018 GLE 350, which I purchased in October 2018. Took it in for schedule A maintenance and was told a left cam solenoid O-ring was leaking and that they would not cover the repair because vehicle w Took it in for schedule A maintenance and was told a left cam solenoid O-ring was leaking and that they would not cover the repair because vehicle was 10 days and 2000 miles over the 4 years/50k warranty. Price to repair was 1600.00. I asked advisor to ask service manager to see if they could do anything. Advisor came back with 1200.00. Needless to say, I said No and will be taking it somewhere else for the repair. I am a first time Mercedes owner and after this incident, it will be my last Mercedes. I’ve owned Fords, BMWs, Chevrolets, Nissans, Land Rovers and have never had an issue with any of their warranties. More
Had my GLB250 in for a repair of the left front wheel due to bumping a curb. The repair was excellent. Looks like the damage never happened. I bought a ML350 in 2016 from this dealership and they were so nice when I was handing them money. I was just in there to get my vehicle repaired and they wanted $16,000 to replace Cylinder #5 after charg were so nice when I was handing them money. I was just in there to get my vehicle repaired and they wanted $16,000 to replace Cylinder #5 after charging me over $1000 for a Compression Test. I declined the service. I picked the SUV up and there was a hang tag to call for a price to sell them the SUV. I called and spoke to Marcus and he told me they would give me $21000 for the SUV. He did not say anything in the quote about me paying for the repairs first or anything else. They just wanted to buy it. Then he called and resinded the offer. I called and spoke to a Manager named Amir. He kept interrupting me and I felt he was condescending. It is amazing how their attitude changes when you have a complaint vs. giving them money. All I wanted to let him know was that I felt it was unprofessional to quote someone a price without having considered all the variables. Once I quote a price for my work I honor it no matter what. I am able to do this because I am a professional and do my homework before I start spouting numbers at people. I currently drive a 2021 Maserati Levante so it is not a matter of not having a vehicle or money. It is the principal of the matter. I will never purchase another Mercedes after this experience. They need to learn that it is easier to keep a confirmed customer than to get a new one. I own my own business and know this to be true. More
I bought used Acura MDX online here with good Carfax on Apr 19, 2021, Trusting that I was doing business with Mercedes-Benz. I had asked salesman to complete a checklist of my concerns since I am from diff Apr 19, 2021, Trusting that I was doing business with Mercedes-Benz. I had asked salesman to complete a checklist of my concerns since I am from different city. He denied car had any visible leaks or mechanical issues. Car had lots of obvious issues the first day after it arrived & I drove it on April 23, On April 27, 2021, I took car to local Acura dealer service department to assess the car, ends up the MDX had leaking power steering unit, needs replacement, leaking transmission with Gear Ratio issues, leaking front and rear struts, alternator had very loud whining noise, all needed to be replaced at once. I reported this to Fernando, after a lot of run around from Brett Jordan, the dodging, sarcastic Sales Mgr and I never heard back from a supposed "Jerry Foyt, GM". After I demanded my money and for them to at least help me pay for the transport cost to return MDX to Houston, they offered to refund only purchase price in full, refused to help me with cost of transporting to and from. I am out over $1250 and the cost to replace the hood lift supports because the ones it came with were totally shot, I feel Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake's "130 Point Inspection" is BS and worst of all is that they never even offered an apology, It is now May 28, 2021 and still waiting on my refund, I'm obviously very angry & will try to get some reimbursement through legal arbitration. Based on old reviews listed here, I bet these bad apples are new and are running this dealership with absolute disregard for any ethics, let alone decency. More
I am very disappointed with my experience at Mercedes Benz Clear Lake. Yesterday, my husband and I went to visit the car lot regarding a car purchase for our son. We arrived the car salesman was not at all honest with us about the car that we were interested in purchasing. When he decided to show us the value of the car based on a different model. Instead, he gave us the price which was listed in the Kelley Blue Book and decided that was going to bully into trying to purchase the car. Due to his dishonesty and horrible customer service my husband and I decided to take our business elsewhere and find a car dealership where customer service is key and BEING HONEST is important. More
I scheduled an service appointment online and I arrived 10 minutes early so once I got there I was greeted by a guy which by the way had a very nice and positive attitude! stated to me that an lady adviso 10 minutes early so once I got there I was greeted by a guy which by the way had a very nice and positive attitude! stated to me that an lady advisor would be out to see me. well I waited in my vehicle for 40 minutes and no one ever came out. the guy than comes back to check on me and asks has anyone came out and I told him no so he went in to get an advisor himself by that time i was already frustrated so I drove off. THE ADVISORS HAVE REALLY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! More
