As a salesman, you should not tell the customer I know just as much as you know about this vehicle. It’s a new model. Why not do your research and get familiar with the vehicle before showing the customer a vehicle? When I told him about my car's improper detailing upon delivery. The tire light still wasn't properly addressed, when bringing the vehicle back to the dealership. A solution should have been provided. I asked for my documents for the tire protection plan. Initially, he said to call the dealership if an issue occurs. What if the dealership is closed? He proceeded to hand me the documents in a dismissive manner. More
After having issue after issue with my 2023 sprinter van at Sewell Mercedes Benz of Houston. They replaced my defective engine. Took 3.5 months. I transport rescue pups and every trip after I got it back the engine light came on. 4 different times. My last trip I was in NY and lost all of the power steering and every safety feature. I had to drive from NY back to Houston with no power steering or safety features. called my service advisor Joey and he didn’t even sound concerned. Not even how soon can you get it here?. I was beyond frustrated and had enough of things going wrong. So I decided to go back to where I bought my first van and GLE350 in 2021. Best salesman ever is Mendal. He was always available to answer questions or anything I needed answers about. . Then Scott Williamson my NEW service advisor at MB of Clear Lake has been outstanding. Kept me informed what the issue was about. They sent me videos explaining and showing what the problem was. Talk about being impressed with MB of Clear Lake. 5 stars isn’t enough. I feel like their customers are important to them. They listen and make sure you understand everything.. It may be over an hour drive to take my vehicles to be serviced in Clear Lake. I promise you, I will never go anywhere else. They really do stand up to the Mercedes name! I can now drive out of State and I have peace of mind my van is safe to drive. Thank You MB of CL for always making me feel important and my needs met. I had never owned a MB in my life. I went to look at their Sprinter vans in Jan. 2021. I was lucky enough to have Mendal as my salesman. Loved his professionalism and making the buying process smooth. I went back out the following week and bought my 2021 350 GLE 4Matic from him. Since then I bought 2 more Sprinter vans and the 2023 I had no choice but but buy from the Woodlands Dealership. Again that was a horrible experience. After engine blew. I had to by a 2024 Sprinter from College Station They were wonderful also and easy to work with from me coming from Houston. Mendal is my #1 salesman. Just all dealerships had low or no inventory. So I had to go elsewhere. Mendal and Scott i can’t tell you both how amazing y’all are! Thanks for making me not want to go sell the 3 MB vehicles I own. That how I felt from Sewell’s treatment. I am proud once again being a MB owner. one high end suv and 3 top of the line sprinters since January 2021. More
