The Service Department sucks. There is lack of communication, miscommunication and all sorts of issues. I even spoke to the Manager of the Service Department, James, after MB missed two appts (in communication, miscommunication and all sorts of issues. I even spoke to the Manager of the Service Department, James, after MB missed two appts (in which they pick up the car) who assured me that I would have an appt at 11am on April 12 21. I got a call from Gabe at 10am asking if I had cancelled the appt, I told him No, so he told me someone would be here to pick up my car by 11am. No one came and I called again at 2pm. I was told that the appt would be the next day. I asked to talk to the Owner. Then, I was told that someone would be here at 330pm. Four people showed up and did nothing except to schedule another appt the following week They told me they waited to give me "extra attention" by coming here. That was BULL! This is just one of numerous times that I have had miscommunication. Another time, I brought the car in. They never called me to tell me the status. I called several times., they kept the car overnight and still never called me. I call on the phone and there is no answer, can only leave a message. When I call my service advisor, he neer calls back. Horrible service. I could go on and one with stories about the poor service. More
As a long time Mercedes Benz owner my expectations are pretty high. My sales rep was nice and did send me an email when this car came into their dealership. Kudos to Dave Olson. The actual purchase paperwork was a pain as they hit your with an onslaught of “prepaid services”. Gimme a break. Plus the document prep fees are sky high. Even though this being my 6th MBZ they offer no loyalty discounts. Despite it being CPO, one issue noticed before purchase was not dealt with before PU. I had to wait two days after purchase to pick up for whatever reason. Additionally, the dealership had lost the second key. The storage system for the back is missing so I’m going to have to hound them for this. It doesn’t appear to have a parking feature I asked about. My mistake for not pursuing that more at purchase time. Since I paid more for a CPO car I really expected a lot more. Makes me wonder if I’m going to be having wiring issues for a long time to come. Meanwhile I’m driving a courtesy car for a week now with no indication from the service rep when it may be done. “Wiring issues can be simple or difficult” was what I was told. And of course the wait for parts. With the snow storm in TX .... I love MBZ but not a big fan of MBZ of Buckhead service department or their idea of what a CPO car is. More
Terrible service post sale. My fiancé has yet to receive her license plat in over 90 days now. We have tried an uncountable number of times to rectify the situation but have been given nothing but a run-aro her license plat in over 90 days now. We have tried an uncountable number of times to rectify the situation but have been given nothing but a run-around of no call backs and being hung up on. We’re on our third temp plate, which according to my APD friend, is not legal, especially considering my fiancé holds an FL residence and ID. We’re now forced to retain legal aid and have reached out to the BBB and Mercedes Benz financial since we are moving to TX in mid March. In my opinion, lease elsewhere. More
