I called Flagship Motors, told a sales rep. what I wanted and within 48hrs. I was signing a lease. I got my initial service there then moved to Boston. On my first service visit in Boston I met Laura (Abbene) Bloom and the rest has become a "Reunion of Friends" rather than a frustrating service visit. It's both "why" and "how". I always call for an appointment and prefer to wait for my car, and should I need a loaner, no problem! I drive in and there's Wilfredo "Hello Doctor, how are you", then escorts me to my advisors office usually Laura(Service Director) now its Steve Lopes. While waiting I like to visit with Chip McCarty my salesman for a chat. Then a nice cup of coffee and before I know it every thing I wanted is done and has always been done right the first time. The Herb Chambers of Sommerville service department, and Dawn, our service representative, provided not only quality workmanship in a timely manner and spectacular customer service, which you would expect f Dawn, our service representative, provided not only quality workmanship in a timely manner and spectacular customer service, which you would expect from a Mercedes service center, she went above and beyond in being completely thorough and honest with us on the work that needs to be done versus what work is "recommended". Rare do you find a service advisor honestly tell you what work is recommended, and what work will be needed in the future (such as brakes and other wear and tear items)but not entirely necessary at the moment. There was no attempt to "up sell" work for unnecessary repairs. This honest approach is most appreciated, versus the urgent messages that are usually associated with any time a car is brought into service. We have had a similar experience with another Herb Chambers dealership, Saab of Boston, which I believe lifts the Herb Chambers brand above the rest. Dawn, along with her service team, confirmed our trust in working with the Herb Chambers dealerships and are great ambassadors for the Mercedes Sommerville dealership! Thank you, Michael More
I would recommend this dealership based on the Service Department, specifically, Kim Trott a Service Advisor. She is thorough, calls you back when she says she is going to and goes the extra mile for the Department, specifically, Kim Trott a Service Advisor. I also have had the opportunity to have Chad (unfortunately I don't know his last name) work on my car - and I usually request that he work on my car - I met him when he came out to do a roadside service because my car was disabled and he was so knowledgeable about Mercedes Benz'. While I do not know the names of all the people who helped me on my most recent visit, they all had smiles on their faces from the person who first took my car to the woman who processed my payment - including a gentleman who may have been a salesperson (I am not sure) who was standing next to me at the payment counter. My car was clean when I picked it up - the process to get a loaner vehicle was simple...I want my car to last a long time and I think it is important to service your vehicle at the dealership to insure you are getting MB parts. I purchased my car in Lynnfield and originally had it serviced there. I started taking my car to Somerville which was more convenient. Because of the great treatment I have received, I will never go to another dealership either to service my car and in the future when I purchase another vehicle - it will be a Mercedes - and I will purchase it in Somerville. More
Ennio was fantastic. Best service experience I ever had. I was greeted promptly by a smiling employee who quickly took down my vitals then led me to the loaner car area (which was free because I was under warranty - a ni promptly by a smiling employee who quickly took down my vitals then led me to the loaner car area (which was free because I was under warranty - a nice surprise!) and I was given a newer year version of my own car - the only caveat to be sure to return it with the same amount of gasoline it had in it when I first borrowed it. I had a lot of work done (a lot of warranty work, but not all, however) and they were extremely good about not going over my budget - they actually called me when they got near my budget amount to ask about additional work (2 bent wheels that affected my car's handling) that they asked me if I wanted to fix (but this would put me about 4% over my budget, I was told) so I authorized it. Surprise, the final bill was LESS than what we had discussed over the telephone! This has NEVER happened to me in the car business before. I can not recommend them highly enough! More

Clearly, there are many choices out there, however this dealership's team of friendly, enthusiastic and informed staf at Herb Chambers in Somerville. From my perspective we live in a time where in a race to save, many have sacrificed the art of service. This is not and I suspect will never be true at Herb chambers. These folks are the best in taking care of me and my family. We currently own 5 separate cars from herb chambers. this is a trend which will continue. The folks I have mentioned here and many more at Chambers are the reason why... The folks specifically mentioned here would be welcomed in an orginization such as mine where customer service is the primary thing that matters. I can assure you that if chambers has been forced to make cutbacks as a result of this difficult economy, they did so in a way which would not effect customers. That is there deal.. this is my second car purchase from Chambers, both new vehicles. I have been a customer of theirs for over 20years. During that time all service was handled by Enio Rebolo, one of their service reps. In all the time I have workd with Enio I have found him to be helpful, concerned about properly taking care of my car, and insuring that I was always treated fairly and promptly. I could not imagine a working with any other service rep than Enio,I am always confident in his detailing of any problem, and am assured the work will be skillfully done and repair costs in line with the job and not inflated as I have heard from friends who utilize other dealerships. Chambers and Enio are tops with me. More
