My first experience with Herb Chambers was an excellent one, the staff was extremely personable and everything could not have gone smoother with my purchase of a used 2012 C-300. I shopped around online c one, the staff was extremely personable and everything could not have gone smoother with my purchase of a used 2012 C-300. I shopped around online comparing prices from all of the Mercedes dealerships in the greater Boston area and found that Herb's had the best pricing. ostHerb's was the first dealership I went to and was introduced with Gina Julian, i was immediately impressed with how personable she was, we had our initial meeting, took a test drive then talked numbers. The next day i went to two other non-Herb Chambers Mercedes dealerships to shop around the numbers, quickly found out that for one, they had the best selection of Mercedes. Second, i also realized that when comparing the sticker prices to the different packages the C-300 had to offer that Herb Chambers had the lowest numbers. Lastly, I was finally satisfied that buying from Gina was the right choice once i had found that she was willing to give me the more money for my trade in then the other two dealerships were willing to give. I went to meet with her later that afternoon to sign the deal, Gina was clearly on top of her game as this process went extremely smooth. Three days later i came in to pick up the car, they needed time re-finished all four rims because there was a few nicks in them from previous owner. I came in on a Saturday, Gina took the time to go over the car with me to make sure i was comfortable with all of the controls, navi, and bluetooth. We both then inspected the car and noticed a few blemishes in the paint and a scrape on the front bumper. I was nervous that well this was a used car that "it is what it is" and id have to live with it, nope, Gina said it was unacceptable. She called out the manager immediately introduced me to him and they both said they would fix/paint whatever issues i had with the car. Sure enough i came in the next week dropped off the car picked up a free loaner car, a few days later they had repainted the front bumper and fixed all of the nicks that we had found. Since then i have been extremely happy with the car and look forward to having a life long relationship with Herb Chambers in Somerville because i know that they will take the best care of me. Gina even shot me a text a few weeks later to make sure i was happy with everything. I have told all of my family and friends about my experience and would recommend all go see Gina because i am confident that she and Herbs will take good care of whoever walks through the doors. After taking the car home i decided that i had made a mistake and wanted a newer body style,,i called gina and she explained the trade policy so i chose a car from the chambers website and it was at a dealership in seekonk..Gina took a half a day to drive to seekonk and bring the car back to me,,working with chris the sales manager the car was brought to dealership standards and today i am a very happy guy,,herb should be proud to have these two employees representing him and for having a great guarantee policy to trade the car back within thirty days if not satisfied...Thank you Herb,Gina ,and Chris,,,i would refer any one i know to your dealership great all around More
In August I saw the CLA 250 at a Boston Magazine Retailer Award Event at City Hall Plaza. The next day I called Jeff Davis, General Manager, who put me in touch with Chip McCarty. Although the car would not launch until late September Chip got us started on building out the car of our choice. He carefully explained the options and patiently guided us through the buying process. At first, we were looking at waiting until December for delivery, but Chip did his homework and found us a CLA250 that was committed to the dealership and he was able to change the specs. to our buildout. Chip promised late October delivery and was right on the mark. Chip negotiated a very fair price on our trade in. I am impressed by Chip's superb product knowledge which makes the buying process rather seamless. His quiet confidence wears very well. At no time did I feel pressured by his sales approach but very much found myself wanting to buy a car from him and the Herb Chambers dealership. I have made several trips back to the dealership to get up to speed on some of the electronics packages and Chip's reception was every bit as positive as when I first met him. It is obvious that he believes in a long term relationship with his customers. I have been impressed with each of the individuals Chip has introduced me to at the dealership and if the fun ever wears off from the CLA 250 I know where to go for another car. More

From the moment I got introduced to her she was very professional and attending to my needs and worked very hard to get me the best price for my CLA250. Gina simply was the best sales person I have ever worked with. I bought more than 15 cars in the past 20 years. Not only did she help me with obtaining the car but she went much further by helping me on line to get a duplicate of my drivers license which she did not have to do. It felt that I was part of her family. Honestly she is a great example of a person that will not only help you buy a car but go the extra distance to make you feel at ease and comfort. You simply have a great asset on your hand and she should be commended on such a great work and It makes me want to come back and make another purchase, in the future. just a closing comment all the staff at the dealership were great too................I came back the next day because I could not figure something out about the car and when I walked in a different person recognized my by name which is a wow factor to me. This is the best dealer ship I have ever worked with in the past 20 years. not only that I had to come back yet another day just to get Gina's businesses cards so I can pass on the word to my friends Simply the best ever encounter.
