Joel was personally handling my case because I had a trade in and it was little complicated situation to get it approve, but he made to work and everything turned out to be positive. THE WORST AND NOTHING . I had the WORST AND TERRIBLE time dealing with Mercedes Benz of Birmingham in Hoover Alabama especially with sales dealer Eddie Wheeler who trie . I had the WORST AND TERRIBLE time dealing with Mercedes Benz of Birmingham in Hoover Alabama especially with sales dealer Eddie Wheeler who tried to make a sweet deal and ended up knowing nothing about courtesy, work ethic, customer service, cordiality and attention to detail and Joel Garcia, the general sales manager that was far from knowing what customer service, cordiality and management is about until the point he is yelling at me on the phone, seriously? A manager yelling a customer at Mercedes Benz? What kind of luxury is this? Instead of an apology and offer anything and everything for a customer satisfaction. Made me feel like I wasn’t talking with the brand Mercedes Benz but with a couple of amateurs with no education whatsoever. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I ended up getting The Worst and Nothing. I’ve been tracking a specific car for a couple of months and I finally found it at Mercedes Benz of Birmingham in Hoover Alabama. Spoke with the dealer Eddie Wheeler for around 4 days about the car since I was not personally there in Alabama I needed to hear and know everything about this car and more questions kept coming up because the car had to be shipped and register in another State. He asked for my personal info in order to finance the car (which was provided right after he asked for it) and when I tried to reach him on his personal cellphone to hear about the status of the car deal, he replied very late and when I sent him an email he replied late again and very briefly so I had to call to his office phone so I could know what was the next step so I could buy the car. Eddie Wheeler told me I was being approved. He gave me all the info for the financing including the interest rate and he asked for the address in order to register the car and even gave me the option of a second address. I had a couple of questions about the title of the car which took him days to answer. He kept requesting more personal info that I did send to him in order to proceed and send me the contract via FEDEX as he expressed to me previously. So I am waiting for that to arrive in the mail so I can sign the contract and send it back and I got nothing. I had to email he to check on this deal (like if I had to, doesn’t sales people are usually harassing customers to buy? That’s a basic follow up in sales that needs to be learned) and he emailed me back and said “I am out of the office today. I will call you tomorrow and go over everything”. Next day, (obviously I had to call him because he won’t contact me on time) and he tells me that the car was sold. Therefore I requested to speak with the general sales manager, Joel Garcia and I explained to him what I had just being told and that I had been working on this deal for days and he answers telling me that I did not send the info they requested on time, which I did and is stated on the emails I sent. He keeps arguing that is not the case and even tells me that they can’t hold the car for days making it look like is my fault now and he even mentioned to me that if I have had cash everything would have been different. Obviously he was not aware and/or well informed what I previously discussed with Eddie the sales person because his facts were wrong. Thank you. Mercedes Benz of Birmingham in Hoover AL and your unprofessional team who needs to learn so much about sales, courtesy, customer satisfaction and attention to detail who got me THE WORST AND NOTHING BUT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!. GREAT RICHARD HAD TALKED WITH ME OVER THE PHONE SEVERAL TIMES. WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE DEALERSHIP HE MET AT THE DOOR. HE DROVE ME HOME TO TUSCALOOSA TO PICK UP MY LEASE RETURN SO I WOULDNT HAVE TO DRIVE BACK.. VERY RESPECTFUL YOUNG MAN. EXPERIENCE WAS OUTSTANDING. ASK FOR RICHARD CHAMPION WHEN GET THERE, YOU WILL LOVE HIM. CY WAS ALSO EXCELLENT. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, ORGANIZED AND DETAIL ORIENTED. EXACTLY THE TYPE OF PERSON YOU WOULD WANT IN FINANCE. Cy Cyphers was most helpful in having all the paperwork ready to go for a purchase out of state. Michael and Cy made it a seamless experience for a person out of state. Michael went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and taken care of on the whole transaction. More
