Extremely poor service and attitude by the staff including the manager on duty. We bought our car from them 5 years back and have been going back regularly for service. The experience this time (on including the manager on duty. We bought our car from them 5 years back and have been going back regularly for service. The experience this time (on July 2, 2021) was pathetic as they made us wait with no ETA for the service vehicle. This was despite the fact that it was a confirmed appointment for a recall that Mercedes has advised. Due to the attitude and rudeness demonstrated by the staff and the manager, we were unable to get a safety recall. Not planning to go to this Mercedes for our next purchase or service ever :-( More
I have owned a Mercedes CLS550 Launch edition for 9 years. It has only been serviced by a Mercedes dealership or authorized garage. I never missed or was late on a service. The car has been meticulo years. It has only been serviced by a Mercedes dealership or authorized garage. I never missed or was late on a service. The car has been meticulously maintained. It has 145K miles and I expected to keep it for 250 to 300K based on what I thought the Mercedes reputation was. The car was driving well and the check engine light came on. I brought it into Mercedes Bellevue. They called back after diagnostics and said to pick it up I was told that the piston shaft linings were all pitted and marked, and it needed a new engine, 33K + labor. Mercedes Bellevue tole me the life of the engine was 1k to 5K miles.I told them to put it together and I would pick it up. When I got to the dealership I was put in an office in the back and the service manager, Eric Gordon, came in and told me that the car was not drivable and I would need to have it towed and proceeded to continue to ask me when I was going to have it towed. Eric told me, and then my wife when she arrived, that Mercedes had used a different alloy in constructing these blocks and the problem was occurring with increasing frequency with the my model CLS550 which had been produced for 4 years. Eric told us this in this meeting and he never admitted it again. Eric then said if I had my oil changed at any place besides Mercedes that this could happen would make my engine seize. I then produces ALL of my services records that proved that only Mercedes had serviced my car. He then said he would call Mercedes and see what they would do. Result: NOTHING As Mercedes could not pin the cause of the problem on any neglectful actions on my part they came back with the decision that they would not do anything for me due to the mileage and that the car was only worth 30K and it would take 50K to replace the engine. So they are telling me that my car is WORTHLESS due to nothing that I did wrong. This was a meticulously maintained car. I did nothing wrong to cause the problem. They do not see fit to compensate me in anyway for my 30K loss (what they said the car is worth). Mercedes caused the problem, not me. How can they get away with this?????? They are essentially saying that a $100K car should not last more than 145K miles. Wow, my wife has had two Japanese cars that have lasted over 200K for less than half the cost. I wrote a synopsis of my problem on the BenzWorld forum.. Comments that came back indicted that this is not an uncommon problem. What Eric, the office manager, told us is true. Mercedes knows they produced a defective engine. The dealer and Mercedes are not standing behind their product. How can it be right that they just tell me to tow away my car and leave me with no compensation or offer to fix the problem they caused? My wife has an Acura. Years after the purchase, we found out that her model had a known an oil leak problem. This was known by Acura and they knew it was their problem. Because my wife had only had her car serviced at the Acura dealership they paid 80% of the 8K cost to fix the problem that was caused by the Acura defect. Acura and the dealership stood behind their product, unlike Mercedes. Mercedes Bellevue has refused to provide the codes from testing. Why? I have spoken to the Service Manager and the General Manager about this and I have not received them. More

It looks like during the vacuuming or whatever cleaning they do during that it happened. I reported to them the issue. Couple of days after reporting the issue, the Call came from their service manager and he said it is not possible for them to introduce this issue and they can't take the responsibility for it. My car was with them from 11:00 AM to around 4:00 PM for servicing and issue was introduced by them but they totally denied to take the responsibility. So, please be aware, they did damaged the car during service. I just want people to be aware. So, that It does not happen to any one else. More

I called but service contact is busy, promised to call me back, but never did. I depended on the car to pick up my son from day care. I complained, but no use. I ended up having my wife drive me home and pick up the kids. Horrible service. If there is a zero score, I will rate it zero! I have been customer to this dealer for 10 years and bought 3 Mercedes. However, I decided never do business with them again! This dealer changed ownership about 3 years ago from Barrier to Auto Nation. The service was great when it was with Barrier. Is Auto Nation to be blamed? I don't believe Mercedes don't care about customers like this. More
A Mercedes Dealership that doesn't Warranty Mercedes? Bad customer Service. We purchased the last 4 Mercedes from them, then they became Auto Nation. Went to get a new car and they didn't have the one we Bad customer Service. We purchased the last 4 Mercedes from them, then they became Auto Nation. Went to get a new car and they didn't have the one we wanted. We gave them time to find it and bring it in, once they found they called and told us to bring it in. The day we were to go in they called back and told us it was sold. We went to Lynnwood Mercedes Benz and asked them to find what car we wanted at let us know and we would purchase. They did and we purchased when it arrived. Two days later we had a flat on the new car (a Continental tire) that was bad. (No damage to tire only had 120 miles on tire) We brought the car to the Auto Nation Bellevue Mercedes and was told it was not under warranty and had to pay $495.00 for tire replacement (closest Mercedes to where we are). Paid the fee to get back to work, that afternoon we called and asked the dealership that we purchased if it should have been under warranty, "yes". Called Continental and asked if it should have been under warrant, "yes". RUN from these guys.....they are the worst! By the way Lynnwood Mercedes Benz gave the $495.00 back to us so we didn't have to deal with Auto Nation any more! I know where I will be buying my new cars from now on! Shame on you Auto Nation! Complete Rip Off place to service your car !! Never go there. I am done with them. They charged me $1200 to get the front brakes done for my E 350 and I had to go there 2 times in 8 months to get them to fix the problems. They could not do it even after 2 attempts. Totally incompetent ! Then I took it to a local German car specialist and this was fixed. Of course I had to pay them but its been more than an year and I have had no issues. In addition, MB of Bellevue sliced the front left tire of my 4MATIC while taking it out of the workshop after their 'service' was done . They only replaced this one tire and not all 4 tires as it is a requirement for a 4MATIC to have all 4 tires replaced at the same time. Now after an year I see that my rear right tire is completely worn down due to the imbalance created. This is now forcing me to buy 4 new tires again just after 2 years ! These were the costly Michelin tires. All because of MB of Bellevue's mistake ! More
Ripoff Service I used to stay with Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue many years. Changed few MLs 350. Always was happy with service. I know prices from previous services. Wi I used to stay with Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue many years. Changed few MLs 350. Always was happy with service. I know prices from previous services. With my previous MLs 50-60k serivice was around $800. With my last car 60K service quote unexplicably became $3K. After my amusement service specialists “adjusted” price to $2.5K. I refused of course. I found another certified dealership within a little of driving, but 60K service costed me today $600. I’m done with Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue. More

After the car was returned to me, the front brake on the driver's side started to make a loud noise when I slammed on the brake. What's more is that the wheel lock key was gone too. So I took the car back for them to check. The service advisor, Matt, admitted that the brake is making noises. He said the brake was checked, but there was nothing wrong with it. How many of you would agree with "there is nothing wrong" when a brake is making noise? (Different from the noise when small rocks got stuck between rotors and brake pads) I asked him "Did you actually get a new wheel lock key to take the wheel off in order to check every component in the brake system?" He refused to answer my question, instead he kept on asking me to pick up the car from the dealership. Brake is one of the most crucial components to keep passengers safe. I am really scared of driving the car now because I never know at what moment will the brake stop working. Matt is putting my family and I in danger because of the malfunctioning brake, and doesn't want to take responsibility. P.S. All four rotors and brake pads were brand new and working properly at the time of purchase, which were also verified by a local auto shop. More
