Mike, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me over the phone. As we discussed, I carefully reviewed the video footage from your vehicle's check-in, and it is evident that the damage was present before our team began any work on it. Please refer to our email thread to view the full walk-around vehicle captured at check-in, as well as a photo showing pre-existing damage. Furthermore, the photos you captured show the damaged area has been touched up with paint. Mercedes-Benz of Austin does not offer touch-up paint services, so there is no way my team could have attempted a "quick fix" as you claimed during our conversation. Given that we have documentation clearly showing the pre-existing damage, I stand by our Service Manager's decision not to cover the repairs. Thank you and have a great day.
