I leased my new CLS63 and Michael was excellent, we had been speaking for over 6 months as to what my next car should be, and he hung in there with me... I had just purchased a '99 CLK320 at auction. When we went to pickup the car, the key would not work in the EIS module. We went into the dealership to order another key. We were told that we had to hav went to pickup the car, the key would not work in the EIS module. We went into the dealership to order another key. We were told that we had to have the car towed in the stealership before they would sell us a new key. After spending an hour providing documentation they finally relented and allowed me to order another key. I was promised two days but it took a week. The new key did not solve the problem so I was told that they needed the car to diagnois the problem. Reluctently, I had the car towed over to them. Before telling me that the EIS module had to be replaced, they found $4,600 worth of "other" things that needed to be done. Finally they replaced the EIS module, for $1,479, plus $165 for a STAR diagnosis. They determined that the problem now was the cat converters which they would be delighted to replace for $2,800. I said "NO" and took the car to my independent mechanic (Fullerton 76, 714.996.1221) who did the job for $1,200. I appreciate that they have a beautiful facility that costs them $50,000 a month rent, but must they pay for it by ripping off customers? I think not. More
This is the most disorganized dealership I've ever dealt with. Incredibly poor customer service. We asked for a specific car and were told that it did not exist...and it took them 3 days to tell us this. with. Incredibly poor customer service. During that time we had 4 different sales people call and we had to start over each time with what we wanted. The sales manager eventually called and said he had the car in another color but the one we wanted was not anywhere in Southern CA. We made one call to the House of Imports in Buena Park and they found the car in 30 minutes, called us back, went and picked it up drove it to the lot, called us, we went there, spent about 60 minutes buying it and drove it home. And the car was nearly $4,000 less than what the Anaheim Hills dealer quoted us IF they could find the car! Disappointing since the Anaheim dealer is less than 10 minutes from our house...but they suck! More
Be careful with this dealership. I recently purchased an R class and they based the price on a car with VIN number that had extra options. The car I test drove had a different VIN number. I bought the car thinking it had two options which it did not have. The VIN number on the contract was for the car I purchased and the package had the sheet for the other vehicle. I was definitely cheated and they wouldn't do anything about it. I never thought I would have to track the detail for a MB dealer. More
We will only work with Shelly. He is not a pushy, salesy type at all. He does a great job explaining all of the features of the car. Very, very professional. My insurance company raised my premiums, I called them and asked why, I have a perfect driving record with no accidents, they said I drove to many miles, I said how do you know how many miles I drove, an and asked why, I have a perfect driving record with no accidents, they said I drove to many miles, I said how do you know how many miles I drove, and they told me the exact miles on my mercedes when I had my last service at calber mercedes, this really ticked me off that caliber mercedes or mercedes benz is giving or selling my personal information to a 3rd party I called caliber mercedes and told them (I own two) you lost a customer for life, I will take my mercedes to a small independent for service, and will never purchase a new one again, I take my privacy seriously. So beware I guess there is no privacy with this company or manufacture. More
I look at the ML350 sometime in february I was happy with the price happy and the sales person. So that day I gave a $20,000 dollar deposit and told them I would pick up the car in a few weeks. It was a gift for my new bride to be 2 days before my wedding I went to pick up the car, and they would not accept my check becasue it was a business check and my name was not on it. There reason for that is because The same day a guy tryed to buy two cars from them useing a fake cashiers checks. This was there excuse compareing me to some loser. 2 weeks before that they had no problem takeing $20,000.00 Dollars from me. Peter The Sale Manger is a rude person I have Purchase 5 Mercedes Benz from walters in the past 4 years with no problems. The reason I went To Anaheim The sale person is a friend but it was out of is hands,I had no time to look for a another car so I fiance the balance.February 28, 2009 The sale person came and pick up the cashier check and they got there money. I dont like peter he inbaresed me and stress me out that day. Service department: Quality work performed for a good price and work completed on-time. A free loaner C240 was provided, even though I didn't buy the car there. Would rather build a long term customer relationship than force you to buy something on the spot. More
