Originally, he was not my service advisor, but I requested him so I am happy to add my review regarding the EXCELLENT service I received from Xavier. Originally, he was not my service advisor, but I requested him solely based on his excellent customer service and ability to address service needs. Whenever I visit the service center, he greets me with a smile. He permeates "customer care" because his commitment and dedication are real. In addition, he takes the time to clearly explain maintenance requirements and ensure I understand what needs to be done to keep my vehicle safe. He is the same all the time. Recently, there was a delay in ordering a part for my 2017 GLS 550, due to no fault of his own, he apologized and immediately reordered the part. Once the part, was reordered he contacted me to let me know it was ordered and an expected delivery date. I have been a customer of Mercedes Benz of Alexandria for more than seven years, the reason I stay is because of people like Xavier. Thank you Xavier and to the entire team. You guys are the best! I recently purchased a 2017 GLS 550 (September 2016). Because I have purchased more than two vehicles from him, when I called he new exactly what I was looking for. When I arrived he had two vehicles waiting for me to test drive. Once I selected the vehicle of choice, I drove home the same day in my new vehicle. The process was quick and I didn't waste all day sitting at the dealership. I continue to purchase vehicles from Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria (more that seven years) because I trust Mr. Daniels; he works hard for me all the time; every time ensuring I get the best deal for my money. Like most people, my wife didn't want to go; doesn't like the "experience". Al and I quickly figured out what car my wife would like, shook hands and said, "I'll get back to you". No pressure, no resistance to me leaving to continue shopping, and talking to my wife. Al was straight forward, told me right up front what he could do, suggested some approaches to help me get a good price. Left me with "come back when you are ready!" I checked it out and it turned out to be just as he suggested. My wife came in to test drive the car and was surprised there was no last-minute price increase, no fee that suddenly appeared, or other issue. Best car buying experience since I made my first new car purchase in 1976, Al Daniels understands buyers, makes it a pleasant experience, left us with the recommendation to "call me whenever you need anything, from a service appointment to question on how to set up the garage door opener" Buying a Mercedes from Al Daniels was as pleasant as driving one!
