Purchase of CPO 2016 GL350 Bluetec I have been looking for a replacement for my 2011 ML350 Bluetec for some time and I spotted on-line a "last of the breed" low mileage 2016 GL350 Bluet I have been looking for a replacement for my 2011 ML350 Bluetec for some time and I spotted on-line a "last of the breed" low mileage 2016 GL350 Bluetec with the right price. I sent out an email inquiry and was lucky to get Michael Prati to respond. A day later the wife and I are in the front seats on an extended familiarization tour. Michael explained everything about the newer gadgets and electronics, showed us how it all worked, and gave us a low pressure opportunity to think about the car. A day or so later we contacted Michael and put the deal together over the phone. We had travel plans for the weekend so Michael held the car, and bingo we get out there at 4PM on a Monday and two hours later we drove it home. BTW - we left the ML350 to be serviced BC we thought we'd keep it for a bit and see if one of the kids wanted to buy it from us. All in all a good visit to a familiar dealership (we've done maintenance on the old Benz there for years with Malike and George). More
Tire Protection Plan/First Class Tire and Wheel I purchased three vehicles from Mercedes Benz of Alexandria (one C300, one S 500, and one S 550). I purchased the tire and wheel protection plan for I purchased three vehicles from Mercedes Benz of Alexandria (one C300, one S 500, and one S 550). I purchased the tire and wheel protection plan for the current S550 vehicle offered by First Class Tire and Wheel through Mercedes Benz of Alexandria, to cover the run flat tires. The S 550 has 25,000 miles, and has undergone every required inspection. I had three tire blow outs on the highway, on different tires in two years. On the last blow out (the third), First Class Tire and Wheel initially denied my claim to replace the tire. I called the General manager, Peter Collins, to complain. I could not reach him personally, so I left a message on his answering machine. I never received a call back from Pete Collins, however, on the morning of the second day after my claim was denied, my claim to replace the damaged tire was mysteriously approved before the Service techs arrived at work. After all of the money I have spent at this dealership, I expect a return courtesy call from anyone I call, including the General Manager, to discuss my service problem. Customers deserve more respect than what was displayed. More

He somehow made the process of deciding which car to buy, completing paperwork, getting title, etc., proceed smoothly, and certainly faster than any other time I have bought a car. I never felt pressure from Michael. He was on my team helping me get the best match for my needs and my budget. I will use Michael to buy cars until he retires. Indeed, everyone I interacted with at MBZ Alexandria was patient and helpful, but no one more so than Michael. More
