EXTREMELY Disappointed in MB of Albuquerque, the few times I have dealt with them, it was nothing but ridiculousness. I had an incredibly frustrating, disappointing and unacceptable experience to say the least, with Mercedes-Benz of Albuquerque. I live over three hours away and called to see if an “illuminated Mercedes star” could be installed on my very first BRAND-NEW, no previous owner and no miles 2024 C300 4Matic—a car that I just purchased and have owned for just 13 days. I spoke with Joel, the “service parts manager”, he confirms the part installation and schedules an appointment for installation. Prior to my long drive ahead, I made it clear to Joel that I suffer from multiple severe back problems and that the trip would take a significant toll on my physical health as I would be driving over 7 hours, same day of appointment to the dealership and then back home. Despite this, I was willing to make the sacrifice because this was the only feature my car was missing from being perfect for me. It was something I really wanted. When I arrived, about 20 minutes after I hand the dealership my keys, Joel comes and finds me in the waiting area to inform me that the part was not compatible with my car—a fact Joel failed to verify before my long trip. When I asked him why he didn’t confirm compatibility beforehand, he had no reasonable explanation. As a small compensation, I was offered to pick something from the gift shop. Once I finally calm down figuring it’s the very LEAST they could do, I chose a chrome MB star-logo license plate for the front of my car. I asked that it, and the mount for the plate be installed, expecting and assuming it would be mounted in the standard center position on the front bumper as it is normally on every other car in America. No, they actually mounted the plate on the far right of the bumper on the drivers side. Regardless, someone should have informed and then asked my permission of the placement BEFORE installing. Period. Once I saw this, I immediately felt nauseous. It looked absolutely ridiculous and completely horrible!! After my over 7 hour drive home, I had to remove the plate and mount. Now…NOW, there are holes on the bumper of my brand-new Mercedes Benz. I attempted to resolve this issue directly with Joel, but he intentionally ignored my calls, messages, and emails. After days of being stonewalled, I was finally told that Joel had “been removed from handling my concerns” and that the dealership general manager would contact me by the end of the day. It’s now been over a month and a half, and I have yet to hear from anyone at the dealership. This level of negligence, lack of communication, and complete lack of accountability is far beyond unacceptable—especially from a prestigious brand that prides itself on luxury and excellence. My trust in Mercedes-Benz has been severely damaged, and I would only recommend this dealership to my WORST enemy, if I had one!! More
I realize that I was a "work in" for an overloaded schedule when I brought my vehicle in that seemed to be having an emergency problem.I was to receive an update within 2 days but the service dept. ph schedule when I brought my vehicle in that seemed to be having an emergency problem.I was to receive an update within 2 days but the service dept. phone went unanswered for 4 days.On day 5 I did receive a call revealing a simple problem and I ok'd the fix, not asking the cost. On day 7 I retrieved my car and paid the exorbitant bill. More
