We were traveling. Friday afternoon and engine light comes on our motorhome. Called this dealership. They took us right in and put it on the computer. It was a sens Friday afternoon and engine light comes on our motorhome. Called this dealership. They took us right in and put it on the computer. It was a sensor. Since it was Friday late they could not order the part until Monday. On Tuesday we called the person who gave us his card. He did not answer. We left a message. He did not get back to us. 3 more calls to the dealership unanswered so we decided to taxi to the dealership. Our contact left for Utah to a mandatory Mercedes training. Ok. He could have told us that on Friday. He left all his customers with a secretary. She looked us up and sure enough the part was in2 hours ago. She sent the part right o we but the techs were out to lunch. So we waited. In their showroom lounge. She came out an hour later and told us the techs said it would be 5:00 before they would have it done. The part said it would take 2 hours. So we waited more. Finally at 3:00 they said it was done and brought it out. So we left and got back on the road to our vacation 4 days later. I we finally got to our campsite only to find that the hood was not even closed properly. But the engine light is off so we are thankful for that and the fact that they did get us back on the road. We just did not like the fact that we lost communication with them for 4 days. I’m not sure the techs would have even hit the part if we had not went to the dealership ourselves, which prompted them to get the part to the techs. I would go there again if we had to but make sure you keep tabs on them. More
