My ML was in perfect shape, until I took it for routine maintenance. A week later, dead after work, but able to jump start to get home. Took it back thinking they should have caught something. A few days maintenance. A week later, dead after work, but able to jump start to get home. Took it back thinking they should have caught something. A few days they couldn't find anything wrong. The following week, dead in my garage, NOT able to jump start, had it towed. Several days, couldn't find anything wrong, tried to find a way to blame me, but replaced the battery on warrantee. Driving on the interstate the car died WHILE I was driving. Restarted a couple of times, limped to a parking lot, another tow. I needed to get some things out of it (including meds) and Leland didn't even know which lot they had put it, and told me it was locked up where they couldn't get to it (it wasn't, it was too dead for them to move it off site). I have emphasized to him and other staff that I need transport for medical appointments, and he was absolutely condescending about how inconvenient that must be for me but he couldn't do anything to help. Even sitting in their waiting room no one has EVER acknowledged me, even when they were expecting me. Another week later they "think" it's the fuel pump, it's going to cost me a ton of money, and even though they said they have the part in stock it's still not ready. I had to get a rental or use lyft with terrifying drivers this whole time, until I asked for a shuttle home, in advance, and they still weren't able to accommodate it they finally gave me a loaner. In every case, I had to call them, there was no communication without my initiating it. When it comes out of the shop this time, it will be the last time, I'm trading it in and cutting my losses, but not for another Mercedes. More

One star for Service Dept communication, 5 stars for the technician/mechanical work. I live 4 hours from the shop and made it clear when making the appointment that I was hoping to schedule my Sprinter to technician/mechanical work. I live 4 hours from the shop and made it clear when making the appointment that I was hoping to schedule my Sprinter to get regular maintenance and diagnose an issue with losing power and ideally have it done the same day so I could avoid an overnight stay in Albuquerque or having to drive two cars. At the end of the day (a Friday) Javier calls to say they will need another day- and despite the service center posting Saturday hours- they do not work on Sprinters on Saturday- which meant I wouldn't get my vehicle until Monday- no apology, no loaner car, and a lie of an explanation that they couldn't diagnose the issue I was having. Turns out no one even attempted to work on my vehicle on the scheduled appointment day- I was told they couldn't figure out the issue I reported to them (a lie as it seemed no mechanic was actually there). When I eventually spoke directly to the Technician Robert he diagnosed it in 1 minute (confirming what google diagnosed as the issue) and I later found out that it was supposed to be completed on the last warranty service I had done here at this same dealership- apparently incomplete. End of Friday Javier assured me they could get it done first thing Monday- I end up picking up the vehicle at 5 pm on Monday. The mechanic work was excellent (although costly)- the lies and deceit were shameful about timing and scheduling. A simple phone call to say we won't be able to get to in until Monday and bring it in then would have been honest and saved me the unnecessary trips and stay away from home. Transparency and honesty are what make good business and interpersonal relations - and clearly fell short this time. More
