Worth the drive from Atlanta...... Well I was getting ready to buy a used GL 450. I live in Atlanta. I had been pouring over the Mercedes dealerships around here for a low mile certif Well I was getting ready to buy a used GL 450. I live in Atlanta. I had been pouring over the Mercedes dealerships around here for a low mile certified vehicle. I thought I found one and went to the dealership. It took me hours to look at the car, get them to give me a price for my trade, etc. At the end of it all the car/suv wasn't really exactly what I wanted but I needed a car. The morning I was about to go pick up the SUV in Atlanta I decided to look on line one more time. I still couldn't find a black on black GL450 with low miles and certified. I decided to broaden my search and low and behold "the car" I wanted appeared. I called Long of Chattanooga. I explained which car I was interested in and told them about the car I wanted to trade. They asked me to take pictures of my trade and include the VIN. I did as they asked. I waited for a minute and they called me back. The told me what they would give me for my car and then I said what will you do on your GL. They gave me a number on the GL and I was thinking to myself.. this seems like a great deal. I explained that I was driving from Atlanta ( over 2 hours) and I needed everything to be as we discussed. So I start down the road. I was very concerned that when I got there the car wouldn't be right or the numbers would change. Well I arrive at the dealership. There is this beautiful GL450 sitting right up front. I am like, this can't be the car. I step out and someone greats me and says here is your car. I was amazed at how clean it was. The car had been detailed and gassed up, ready to go. Also, it looked nicer than anything I could have hoped. We went inside and started to do the paper work. Not one number changed from our phone conversation. In fact the deal slightly improved. It literally took me 20 minutes to buy the car. I spent more time with the sales rep getting the car demo than I did actually buying the vehicle. This by far was the best car buying experience I have ever had. In my 48 years no car deal has ever gone this good. I would encourage anyone from anywhere to find a car on this lot and go do business with Long of Chattanooga. They did an amazing, amazing job. Funny story.. as I am writing this they called me to make sure my experience was positive. I had a question about the title for the car I bought. The young lady said give me 5 minutes and I will call you back. She did just that and said have a great day. These guys are the best.........
