I purchased a used Suburban with 60k miles on it back in August of 2024 with the complimentary 6 month 6k mile warranty. I was told by Chris P at time of sale that I can extend the warranty at additional co August of 2024 with the complimentary 6 month 6k mile warranty. I was told by Chris P at time of sale that I can extend the warranty at additional cost once this warranty ran out and had all info emailed to me so all I needed to do was email him by a certain date and or milage which ever came first. I had emailed Chris twice before my warranty expired and did not hear back. I tried a third attempt and received a un-deliverable notification and reached out to the GM who mentioned he no longer works there and CC’d two individuals to farther assist me. Three days (4 weeks after sending original email and 2 weeks after warranty expired) went by, and my transmission went out and I have not heard from these folks cc’d on the email. I called the dealership and explained my situation and was asked why did I not call to begin with. I mentioned Chris had all my info and warranty packages and all I needed to do was respond to his email. He mentioned well he has not been here for months which was news to me especially since their website under “team” still shows him as a point of contact which I mentioned and was told in response well that needs to be updated. I asked what we can do about my situation and was told “I am S**t out of Luck”. I took this back to the GM and received a call from the Sales Manager. At first it seemed he was willing to help and investigate this and asked to receive all email documentation I had sent Chris which I gladly did showing proof I was trying to get in contact. I heard from him a week later saying, “So Far he is not having any luck they cant warranty a vehicle that broke down even with intent to do so before the breakdown”. Which to me made it sound like it was still being looked into. Meanwhile my car is in the shop with a transmission rebuild, new torque converter and transmission pump. My mechanic suggested the Tranny fluid seemed thick like syrup and was wondering if I put an addictive in it which I did not, again I only put 5k miles on this vehicle since getting it. I reached back out, three separate times with the third time having a deadline to respond back. I wanted to see if any transmission work was part of the routine maintenance and they finally responded said no which is a shock due to something clearly was off with the tranny at some point. I was also told nothing more can be done as stated in a previous email they wont warranty a vehicle already broken down. The dealership will not do anything regarding this issue at this point and I am proceeding with filing a report with the BBB of New Jersey and sharing my experience with others online. Please beware from buying used vehicles from this dealership. I will ensure this review gets plastered all over social media and anything that houses “Holman Mercedes Van Center of Maple Shade NJ” More

Horrible experience. They took my credit info pulled my credit then sold to someone else.
