Our customers' experience and satisfaction are our top priorities. It has been a pleasure speaking with you over the past few weeks as we worked together towards a positive outcome. As we discussed, we strive to ensure that none of our clients experience problems with their vehicles or feel dissatisfied with their purchase experience. This is why we provide a complimentary 6-month, 6,000-mile powertrain warranty, with the option to purchase a more comprehensive warranty at the time of sale or before the complimentary warranty expires. Unfortunately, in your case, you chose not to purchase additional coverage at the time of sale, and your attempt to purchase additional coverage before the complimentary warranty expired was made on the last day of your 6-month coverage period. In this particular situation, there is a 30-day waiting period before coverage takes effect. As such, the issue with your vehicle would not have been a covered repair due to the timing of the attempt to purchase the additional coverage. However, I understand your disappointment, and as a gesture of goodwill, I am extending an option for you to purchase the additional coverage you requested, even though the original coverage has expired. To proceed, we would need to perform a complete checkup of your vehicle and address any current existing faults. I am happy to waive the normal inspection fee of $165.00. I hope this helps restore your confidence in our dealership.
