Faulty Vehicle In 2016 I leased a new Malibu. Within the first twelve months I had to have the vehicle in the shop every month for something differ In 2016 I leased a new Malibu. Within the first twelve months I had to have the vehicle in the shop every month for something different I was even told that the pistons melted because the plugs were not hot enough. That doesn't make any sense and could never happen. The dealership refused to take the vehicle back and the owner Gustavo Palmar told me your just looking for a handout and he walked away after saying he was late for a meeting. The vehicle cost me $36,500. I honestly thought that is what they were priced at I have a brain injury from war and forgot the price I saw it online for and they took advantage of that. two years of payments later I asked the dealership to convert the lease into a pay to own loan. About 5 days ago I called and talked to Zak, a salesperson for the second time. He assured me that this could be done and he would be happy to help me. I went to the dealership he said he needed my wifes information as well. My wife is not on the loan. He later called me at my home after screwing me around for a few hours and said he could do it but I would have to give him $2000.00. I said nope can't do it He then said $1000.00 mysteriously a creditor called at that exact moment to make the offer. Finally He told me that the son of the owner Andre Palmar said he would eat the $1000.00 but I would need a $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 down payment in order to convert the lease to a pay to own loan. xxx??? This dealership needs investigated. I am truly sickened by their antics and the way they willfully try to take advantage of those of us with TBI's from war. For years I gave them the benefit of the doubt but they used my cognitive problems to their advantage. If you are looking for a new car look elsewhere or you will soon find yourself in the same situation I am in right now. Just Google the name if you want to see the type of people you are dealing with. More
