You offered way more than I anticipated on trade-in, and got me the car that I have always wanted. Recommend coming here as they don't try to haggle and upsell you with extra warranties that you may not need. I was in and out after the test drive in about an hour with keys in my hand. I called MemberCar and spoke to Maddie on Friday, set up an appt for Sat morning to see a car. It was out front waiting for me when I got there and I was greeted by name. We did the Drivers License check and a few other quick steps and I was behind the wheel. Rockville has WAY TOO MANY speed cams! I will never shop or dine there again. I would go back to MemberCar if I need another car, though. They were excellent. Great team, David is a good sort too. More
I purchased a vehicle from MemberCar on 2/25/20 with GAP insurance coverage for which I paid $800 for. I sold the vehicle on 1/25/2021 and contacted MemberCar on 5/25/2021 and requested a GAP cancellation insurance coverage for which I paid $800 for. I sold the vehicle on 1/25/2021 and contacted MemberCar on 5/25/2021 and requested a GAP cancellation form which I filled out and returned with all requested documentation on 5/26/2021. Since that time I have not received my GAP refund and I have called several times and each time I call I am told that they will look into it and get back to me. As of 9/28/2021 I have received no refund and no contact from MemberCar regarding my refund for the cancelled GAP insurance. As far as I am concerned this business has no integrity and can not be trusted as they have blatantly refused to refund my money. Will be pursuing this with a civil complaint as this business has refused to respond to my requests. You have been warned. More
It wasn’t 5 Star, but it was darn good. They were slow on following up on promises. But they did follow through with some prodding. My only real complaint was what they gave me for my trade in. However, I was sick of car shopping & dealing with used car salesman. Tyler was refreshingly un-used car salesmen like. They allowed me to take the car 40 minutes away so my mechanic could give it the once over. Overall I was happy. I like the car I purchased. I feel it was a good deal. I did receive a gas card. However it was on the day I purchased the car. So it did not influence my review. I would buy from them again, and I have recommended them to people that are car shopping. More

My husband and I had been looking for Toyota Highlanders online for the last few months, and we recently came across one that was exactly what we were looking for on MemberCar. I immediately inquired about online for the last few months, and we recently came across one that was exactly what we were looking for on MemberCar. I immediately inquired about it and within an hour, Tyler had reached out to me via email. He was very quick to respond to all of my questions. We drove two hours to see the car, and ended up making a purchase. Tyler and his boss, Dave, were both very honest and friendly throughout the process. We never felt like we were being “played” or taken advantage of. I am in love with my new car and would definitely recommend MemberCar based on my experience! More
My brand new 2021 Cadillac CT5 had just been backed into by a very big truck. My wife insisted we buy another car to get me to and from work even after my Cadillac is repaired(if possible). We did some internet research and found Membercar and sent an email for interest in a car. Sure enough I was contacted by a salesperson named Tyler. I asked him if they had other cars as well. Tyler said yes why don't I come by and take a look. They had a host of very nice looking cars that looked well maintained. We ended up buying a very clean Hyandai Elantra Hatchback. The car runs very well and we are pleased. Did not feel pressured at all by Tyler and the owner David was a very nice man as well. We'd recommend Membercar to anyone looking for a nice used car. Good cars and really nice sales staff especially Tyler. More

Now I find myself wishing for an option of LESS THAN POOR. I purchased a Toyota Prius from them in June 2020. Loved the experience and the fact that they brought the car to me with paperwork completed. It was as advertised and I signed. I never had a problem with the car -- right up to the minute it was struck while stopped at a traffic light. The car was totaled. That was on April 29, 2021. I had purchased an extended warranty through Member Car and I have been waiting for a pro-rated refund since I contacted them in early May. I filled out the paperwork as requested on June 1 (it took that amount of time to get a response). This was followed by several requests from me for status. I have been told that the hold up is at the "home office". Maybe it is literally someone's home and they are away. The last communication I have from them is dated June 23, 2021: "I am trying to get in contact with admin now. I sent them the info. If anything is delayed everything will still be based off of the dat and miles of cancelation. I will have an answer for you today. Thank you." The email was signed but I take that person at their word that it's not their fault so I won't call them out. I never dreamed things would end like this, but I guess this is the best the home office can do. Does the next stop have to be Small Claims Court? Come on member Car! PS - This could have been, should have been, an opportunity for you to try to sell me another car! More

With ambiguous promises, high prices, and terrible business practice, it’s a wonder that they have so many 5 star reviews. That is until you realize they encourage you to leave a 5 star review in exchange for a $25 gas card (that will not fill up your tank of the vehicle you just purchased). The buying process was smooth and straightforward. That is where all the positives end. I bought a car in December and in that time I have had to replace tires, wheel bearings, and brakes. To top it all off my vehicle developed a significant oil leak not even 3 months into ownership. I’ve put almost half of what I paid for into this vehicle. When I finally confronted the owner, David, he was anything but willing to “go above and beyond” like their website implies. He even stated that he has vehicles that sit on his lot and develop oil leaks while awaiting sale! Who wants to buy from a shop like this!? Not to mention they managed to make a DMV trip go from 30 minutes to 2 hours because they have me the wrong paperwork and couldn’t figure out how to properly use a fax machine. They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but once you drive to the shop/office, you should very much start questioning what sort of experience MemberCar has to offer. More
