As we discussed with you, we are willing to address the issue for you. We believe it is a covered repair, but we would need to look at the vehicle here at the dealership in order to fix it. Thanks for following up. Here’s where things stand: 1. Current status – The Wrangler is already at an ASE-certified transmission specialist who has ordered the reman NSG370 in stock and can complete the repair for $5,050 (parts, labor, fluids, tax) within the next two weeks. 2. Alternative – My local Jeep dealer quoted $11,000 for a brand-new transmission that’s on back-order 45+ days. Given the cost and delay, that route isn’t realistic. 3. Prior stewardship – Meadowland sold the Jeep new, handled nearly all of its service for eight years, bought it back, and resold it to me. The reverse-gear failure clearly predates my ownership. Path forward To honor the “mechanical peace of mind” you promised, please choose one of these options by [five business days from today]: • Direct pay: Email written authorization so the shop can bill Meadowland of Carmel directly upon completion. • Reimbursement: Confirm in writing that Meadowland will reimburse the full, documented cost within five business days of receiving the paid invoice. Either option gets the Jeep back on the road quickly and avoids the logistics and risk of towing an undriveable vehicle 200 + miles.

As per our previous phone conversation, we are willing to stand behind the product. In order to verify the failure and make the repair, the vehicle needs to be looked at here at our location. I realize that isn't convenient, and we apologize, but that is how we would be able to address the issue.
