They destroyed my 2008 Subaru Forester For their service I should say "no stars" at all. My 2008 Subaru Forester has been serviced by them for the last 2 years and a half, first time I drov For their service I should say "no stars" at all. My 2008 Subaru Forester has been serviced by them for the last 2 years and a half, first time I drove from Moline to Galesburg without coolant. A year later I had to change the radiator. My head gaskets failed and they changed in 2015, Subaru of America paid for it, for the last 2 years, I have drove a car with a cracked head gaskets spraying oil everywhere to a point that my car almost got on fire without knowing it. There was black oil all over the motor and smoking coming under the hood. Last time I made a complaint of smoking coming under the hood after an oil change "they told me it was just an oil spill". Then to finish killing my Subaru, my last oil change, they left the drain oil plug loose. I park on a gravel driveway and I did not notice more of the oil leak besides the head gaskets . When I bought the car to another dealership in town I found out the cracked head gaskets, the drain plug loose and the most surprising was "you have oil sprayed everywhere in your motor up and under . It will be impossible for a mechanic not noticed that. Who has been servicing you? I won't bring there again, maybe bring to another Dealership in Peoria , but no Moline. I had no words when I heard that! I always trusted Subaru Services in the East Coast, that is when I moved to the Midwest I thought here will be the same, I even brought my car on a trailer to avoid driving over 3,000 miles when I moved. Well I was wrong! They killed my 2008 Subaru Forester. Hope you are not lucky to get the same service that I did that destroyed my car. More
Best service department anywhere Sherry is the best Service Manager I have ever dealt with. Pleasant personality, gets things done quickly and at a fair price. Because of McLaughlin's service department I will always own a Volvo, Cadillac or Subaru which are the three brands they carry. I have talked people into these brands because of the service department. More

Beth was able to quickly get our car an appointment, towed into the dealership and the service team was able to get it back out on the road before the holiday. Worst service I've ever had to experience. if I could go back and buy my Subaru at another dealership I would. Do not support this business with your money. I asked for my brakes to be inspecte if I could go back and buy my Subaru at another dealership I would. Do not support this business with your money. I asked for my brakes to be inspected and was told they were in good condition. At my next service they told me my pads and rotors needed to be replaced. When I inquired about why they didn't change the pads at the last service like I asked I was told they had only done a "visual inspection". I don't know if they are incompetent or intentionally let the pads wear down the rotors. In either case they made a mistake and should take responsibility. Add on top of this their service is much higher price than others and it often took 2 to 3 hours for an oil change. When I buy my next Subaru it will not be from this dealership. Save yourself money and time and made your purchase anywhere else. More

Fantastic Service I arrived a stranger in town with a Subaru Impreza that needed the 'check engine light' assessed. The service was fast, and the support staff were so I arrived a stranger in town with a Subaru Impreza that needed the 'check engine light' assessed. The service was fast, and the support staff were so helpful. As it turned out my car was also on a recall list. When they tested the Lower Control Arm they found it was rusted through and needed to be replaced. All went smoothly with the right side but the L side was so rusted it fell apart requiring extensive replacement parts. At ZERO cost to me, Beth, the amazing service advisor organized parts to be flown in overnight. They gave me a loaner car for the day and I just heard this morning that the parts arrived and I should be ready to hit the road again by early afternoon. I am on a road trip from my home in Maine to California for a new job; just imagine what could have happened if that arm had given way while I was driving at 70 mph on the I 80? I also want to thank Brian cox for his incredible help with services . I would not hesitate to consult Brian when choosing a new vehicle. thank you, thank you to all the staff at McLaughlins' Subaru of Moline. More
