I installed an auxillary jack for my stereo. Because the key was in the ignition while the stereo was disconnected, it gave me an error for the air bag system. Joe Washok is an excellent dealer, knowledgeable and friendly. He was the only one to answer my question of "does the nissan armada 2012 platinum edition come in an eight seater" when at least friendly. I initially was just curious about pricing on the new Maximas (beyond just the MSRP), so I requested an internet pricing quote on a few Maximas optioned similar to what I really wanted. Imagine my surpri Maximas (beyond just the MSRP), so I requested an internet pricing quote on a few Maximas optioned similar to what I really wanted. Imagine my surprise when the quotes came in nearly $9k off MSRP! Needless to say, I had to come explore further. While my exact color/configuration I wanted wasn't what I ended up purchasing, the internet salesman did offer to search for my wants, but to expect less of a discount and more mileage. I am very picky on how many miles a new car has before I take delivery, and don't like to have more than 10...but 20 on the odometer would suffice. So I settled for almost exactly what I wanted, just in a different color I still liked. Pricing was straight forward and very aggressive (in a good way for customer). The only pressure given was when they wanted to include my old car as part of the deal. I actually wanted to keep my old car because it was in great condition, in addition to wanting a secondary vehicle. North Little Rock Nissan must have really wanted it...so I was for sure not going to take the expected trade value. I had also done my homework...knowing retail values of similar vehicles. I ended up finding a nearly exact vehicle on their used lot in a different color...with 5k more miles with an advertised price. So, I knew what the potential profit would be. I realized they are a business and have to make some money...but I didn't want to give up my old car. After some negotiations with increased trade allowance...added accessories...and additional discounts on new car, the deal was made with the trade as part of the deal. Overall, I was happy with the experience. However, the extended warranty cost seems much too high considering I paid nearly $1200 less 5 yrs earlier on the same plan. The other issue was knowing more about the cars than the dealer or salesman regarding options and mechanical specifications (makes sense as I am an auto enthusiast, but still surprising the lack of knowledge). After the sale experience has been great, and Joel has always been very helpful and responds quickly to questions and concerns. More
