When I called the service department at McKinney Dodge of Easley I was told by the advisor Bob that they were very short handed with technicians but that if I could bring the car (Chrysler 200) in and leave Easley I was told by the advisor Bob that they were very short handed with technicians but that if I could bring the car (Chrysler 200) in and leave it they would get an appointment by early the next week. I did so letting them know that I had a Mopar Extended Warranty . I was then contacted by Bob that all 3 repairs were approved and that the heater coil, motor blower and actuator would be replaced. A few hours later I was called back by Bob and told that the heater coil was denied by the MVP warranty and that it would cost me $1100 to replace the heater coil. I asked why it was denied and he said he did not know that they are never given a reason and that I would need to call MVP. Which I did and was told by them that the dealer never submitted the heater coil to be replaced. I called Bob back and asked that they submit the heater coil. Within the next day or 2 I was again called by Bob that the repair was denied. Again I called MVP to find out why and was told that McKinney told them that the routine maintenance was not done on the car therefore voiding the warranty. I called Bob at McKinney back and asked why they would have said such a thing? He stated that they did not have any records of me having the "coolant flush" done at their shop. I have lived in 2 states and 4 different areas while owning this car. So I went home got my file of my services completed at different dealerships, etc. and took the file back with me to McKinney to see which of the receipts would show a flush but also explained that we had performed a flush of the coolant system when we had replaced a thermostat in Dec. of 2017. Doug at McKinney said that I didn't have the correct receipt in the file but fact that we had completed a flush of the system in 2017 was all he needed that it was obvious that it was not the original fluids and that was all that MVP wanted to know. I asked if I needed to go back to find the receipt for the fluids that we purchased when we did the repair and he said no. Again a day or 2 later I was called by Bob that the repair was denied again. I call MVP again and I am told that Doug at McKinney stated that I had no receipt showing any flush of the system. I asked what I needed to provide MVP with in order to prove the flush was done and to have the repair approved. I was told by MVP that I could perform the maintenance myself and that I just needed the receipt for the fluids and a statement with it stating that the cooling system flush was completed on what date and that would be approved however it needed to be filed on a dispute form. Again I call Bob back and I also ask for a service manager to get involved since I feel like I'm getting resistance from McKinney to properly file my information in order to achieve an approval. Mr. Holtclaw the service manager tells me that he has been in this business for several years and that they aren't going to approve it unless the maintenance was done by a dealer. and that he has never heard of a dispute form. I discuss that I can e-mail him the receipt on the paper with the statement of the coolant system flush being completed on Dec. 10,2017 and the cars mileage on that date. I ask if he can't read it or if he can't open the picture on his computer to please let me know and I will arrange to get off work and get someone to drive me the 1 hour to his dealership to bring the original. A few more days pass and I am contacted that it was again denied. Again I contact MVP and they send me the comment from Doug at McKinney when he filed the dispute "Doug is calling back to state customer proved a recipe for coolant dated 12/1/17 dealer can not make out recipe still no documents stating service was done heater core is still denied". Why would McKinney say such a thing when I sent them the receipt and stated that if there was any issue with opening the attachment or reading it, etc. that I would bring them the original! I later received from the general manager of McKinney e-mail clips (not the full e-mail) showing that MVP told them that once an appeal is filed then they will not re-look at the request. I also can see that what the replacement of the heater core would actually cost the dealership in parts and labor is a total of $248.81 but they were going to charge me $1100. for this same repair. So if they got the warranty denied they would gain an additional $ 851. of profit for doing this repair. Since it was a labor intensive repair and they were short handed (as per Bob when I originally called in) it is my belief that they did not want the warranty to be approved. More

Arrived on time and the service advisor said I would have to leave it 2 or 3 days for them to check it. I told him I have a appointment to have it looked now. He said that I have an appointment to see a service advisor and to it would be 3 days before a mechanic could look at it. I left and I’m taking my business to Benson. This would be like making an appointment with receptionist to a doctor 3 days later. Pay over $80,000 for a truck, you should get better service. More

I consider myself a very loyal customer. I bought my Jeep from McKinney and have my service done there as well! I took my Jeep in for a routine oil change and front end alignment. I was told I would be Jeep from McKinney and have my service done there as well! I took my Jeep in for a routine oil change and front end alignment. I was told I would be there about and hour to an hour and a half. I was there 3 hours. Also was told my lugnuts were blown out. Nrand new lugnuts costed 120 dollars how can all of your lugnits be blown out at the same time? Plus McKinney dodge is the only one that touches my tires so McKinney Dodge blew out my lugnuts. I believe they were trying to upsale me and take advantage of me because I am a woman. I have tires for life and power train for life. I don't believe I will go back there because I feel as they ripped me off and I will never buy a car there as well. I hope those lugnuts were worth it! More

We have always experienced outstanding customer service at your dealership and, for that reason, we were seriously disappointed with the results of my husband's appointment yesterday. My husband's key fob to his Ram pick-up needs replacing. He called your dealership last week and was told that there was one key fob in stock that could be programmed for his truck. He asked that the key fob be reserved for him and made an appt for Tues., Aug. 11th at 2:30. He was assured that his name would be put on the key fob & it would be held for his appointment. When he arrived August 11th, he was left to wait for about 30 minutes and then told that the key fob had been sold to someone else. We live in Seneca and DRIVE PAST a competing Jeep Dodge dealership to go to McKinney Service Dept. in Easley because we have been so impressed with your service department. I'm not at all sure that we will be doing that in the future after his experience yesterday. He wasted almost 2 hours of his time and STILL does not have his newly programmed key fob. He was assured that they could order a new key fob for him & put his name on it, if he wanted to go ahead and make an appt for the programming. Really?!? That's how he ended up there on Aug. 11th and wasted almost 2 hours of his afternoon. Very disappointing! We have never experienced such confusion, miscommunication & poor customer service from McKinney Service Dept. Regards, Judy & Charles Creel More

Since then, Paul is my go to contact person for all my service needs, questions and concerns. Paul is an exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly person and has always scheduled me promptly and had all my service needs fixed quickly and correctly the first time. All the mechanics are awesome as well and this is the first dealership I have found that can actually fix any problem correctly the first time. I am 74 years old and that should be a compliment to be taken seriously by anyone seeking to use McKinney Dodge as a first time customer. Paul has added a no stress experience to my service needs and that is important as I am a disabled US Navy Vietnam era veteran with PTSD. and added stress is something I try to avoid. Paul has improved my quality of life due to the fact he has honestly and professionally handled all my service needs in a stress free manner. I consider Paul a friend and someone who has earned my trust by his example of providing excellent service to me. Oh, I almost forgot; I live 150 miles away in Piedmont North Carolina so that should speak volumes of praise for Paul and the McKinney Service Team. More
