As the new General Manager of McKenzie I have been hearing this concern more and more about customers not being called and updated on their vehicles. I have hired 3 team members to address these concerns and ensure this is not a continuing problem. 1st I will state I have been here 1 month, I am retired military and came from a GM Mark Of Excellence Buick GMC store in the midwest to help turn this great dealership around and back to it's once great reputation. 2nd I have hired another Service Advisor George, to assist Roberta, he is already proving to be a great asset to not only Roberta, and McKenzie Buick GMC but to our customers as well. 3rd we have hired Chris former US Marine filling many positions in the store and following up with customers is one of his top priorities. I can only apologize for what has happened and assure you this will not happen on my watch. Sorry to hear we may have lost you as a customer but in lieu of the circumstances I totally understand and honestly I would do the same thing. HOWEVER I will say this the culture in this store is changing and the accountability for the actions of our team will be upheld by myself the General Manager. You may want to talk to a few of the customers that I have had the pleasure of dealing with during my short tenure here, you will then realize the person at the helm of this ship an 18 Year Mark Of Excellence General Manager. Personally I want to thank you for your time with this review without people not bringing this to my attention we cannot improve.

I sure hope you are able to turn it around. I purchased from this dealer because I wanted to support local business and I understand the vehicle repairs are not the dealers fault. We have had many issues with the service department following up,and other issues. Our most recent service we were told we needed a tune up even though we had just paid $600 to have a fuel system cleaning and tune up which actually turned out to be a torque converter issue. Goodluck!

We have changed and are consistently striving to get better, we have been operating under strength for a little over a month in service as we lost an advisor, since we have added a retired Air force officer, an honorably discharged Marine, and our New General Manager has come to us after a 23 year military career and operating one of the largest Buick GMC stores in the midwest. Sorry what you have seen apparently does not meet your expectations however we will take your review as a learning experience. However your comment changed not for the good, we would hope to prove you wrong here and would hope in the future we can show you how well this team operates. Thanks for your honest opinion and I sincerely hope we can change your opinion of our service department.
