I live in Tennessee and I purchased my vehicle Dec 10th, 2011. At the time of sale, I was told that my paperwork would be sent to my county clerk before Christmas. I called the dealership on Dec 23rd and was told it would be a couple more weeks. I called my salesman, Lamont Stevenson the morning of Jan 9th. Mr Stevenson told me he would check on it and get right back to me. I finally called the dealer back at 4PM because it was obvious the Mr Stevenson was not going to return my call. All I got was more excuses and run around as to why my paperwork had not arrived. The dealer finally admitted the reason for the delay was the bank from the previous owners loan had not released the title, meaning the previous owners bank still had a lien on the vehicle that was sold to me! Finally over 30 days after I purchased the vehicle, the lien has been released and I now have my paperwork. More

We purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander in January of 2012. I had emailed back and forth with Ruth Henry (Internet Manager) all day. She answered alot of my questions and was very helpful. She also set us up an appointment with a salesperson that evening. When we got there that evening we met with Lamont Stevenson. Lamont was very friendly and easy to work with. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles and answered all questions that we had. I feel that he went above and beyond what we expected from a car salesman. Negotiations went smoothly and quickly. I feel that we received a fair price in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Lamont Stevenson and the McKenney-Salinas Honda Mitsubishi team. More

Jeff Black told us it would cost alot of money to do the We Owe You work and is telling us it is not covered, even though we bought a certified preowned car and the one year warranty and the 7 year warranty We Owe You work and is telling us it is not covered, even though we bought a certified preowned car and the one year warranty and the 7 year warranty. We reported a clunk noise in the back, right window after the test drive. Brought the car in on the we owe you; the technician said, "Something is broken inside and that is why there is the clunk noise." Now we are being stalled around, no return calls and our 30 days is running on the we owe you. Up until this point, we loved the dealer, now we are contemplating suing in small claims court. We would never have bought a certified preowned car and paid extra for that and the warranties if we knew it meant nothing. Robert Lombardo, 828-478-1370. Just do the right thing and fix what you promised you would on your certified preowned vehicle. Dealings with Lamont Stevenson were great up until now also. Now getting the fast talk run around from him also. Open to calls anytime to discuss the issue before going to the media. I am pleased to report that all issues have been resolved to our satisfaction and Jeff Black was extremely courteous to us on the visit where the window noise was fixed. Now we just have to clarify our extended warranty that we purchased. We were told by both Chris and Lamont it was "bumper-to-bumper" for 7 years or 100,000 miles. Now in the mail we received our owner ID card stating the warranty is for the power train for a hundred thousand and non-power train until 1-2-2013 or 50,880 miles. That does not sound like a 7 years/100,000 mile warranty bumper-to-bumper. Chris's exact words were, "top, bottom, middle, sides, everthing was going to be covered. Help. More

My husband and I were in the market for a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. We used consumer reports to find the car we wanted at a great price. We were quoted a rate from McKenny Salinas Mitsubishi and went down to test drive a vehicle. They said they didn't have the model we wanted but they had found one for us. Once we got there the "internet sales" team was unavailable so another guy helped us. We drove the "test" car, but when it came to the price we were quoted they couldn't find the paperwork. It just disappeared. Then we spent over an hour going back and forth with the salesman who continuously went in the back room to talk with his manager. After the 4th or 5th time my husband was more than a little annoyed and said just let us speak directly to him. That didn't happen and he continued to play his song and dance game. Finally my husband had enough (this was the third Mitsubishi we were to purchase) and told them to give us our keys that we were leaving. Then and only then did the "manager" come out. He said he was busy finding us the car...hmmm we didn't go down there (it was an hour and a half away from our home) until they told us they had found the car. Guess they lost that too! Just to clarify Ruth was very nice and we had no problems with her. I don't know the name of the sales person we spoke with, young guy and not in internet sales, he was nice too but really played the song and dance game. Never got the "manager's" name. We were so angry we left there business cards on the desk. We bought the car we wanted and a great price from Carriage Mitsubishi in GA. THEY were GREAT to work with. I would NEVER go back to McKenny Salinas again. Misleading, and just over all left a very bad taste in our mouth. More
