Very friendly staff, open dialogue, good location. I called them up in advance to see if a particular car was still available, and they had it parked at the front and ready to test drive when I arrived. called them up in advance to see if a particular car was still available, and they had it parked at the front and ready to test drive when I arrived. I then proceeded to the showroom and was greeted by Alex C. who was friendly and professional. Went out for a test drive after which I decided that I wanted the vehicle. Sat down and started to do business. It was a long process, because I had to be a a certain price point to afford the vehicle. They really worked with me to get the most out of my trade and when I say worked they rolled up there sleeves and got me every possible dollar and probably than some. After several hours and me leaving and then coming back an hour later the deal was done. During the process both Alex and Ray were very patient with me and I believe that they were both working to get me the best deal possible. At no point was any member of the staff rude or condescending towards me or some of my unrealistic counter offers. ( Hey you have to ask, all that can happen is that they will so no, lol) Anthony the finance officer was fantastic he got me a substantially lower finance rate than I expected saving me $10.00 a month over the 72 month loan. That savings got me pretty much at my target payment that I wanted which was fantastic. I also spoke to Jay the general manager who addressed any and all concerns that I had regarding my purchase. After speaking to Jay it is clear he wants each and every customer to be satisfied with the service they receive at McGee Chevrolet and will do what he can to ensure your satisfaction. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend that you check out McGee Chevrolet if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. From what I looked at they have a good selection of low mileage used trucks. I read some of the older reviews which may not be very good but the latest reviews look great. I know there is some new management at McGee and they are trying to make it a great place to purchase a vehicle. You can go anywhere to buy a car and Jay knows that, he also knows that its not the car that will bring you back to McGee its the customer service that will bring you back. I would strongly suggest that you make McGee your first stop if you are looking to purchase a vehicle. It will save you some time because you won't have to go anywhere else. More
This has got to be the WORST dealership I have EVER dealt with. I purchased a 2009 Chevy 2500 HD and was told by the "salesman" that a new battery would be put in the truck, after 4 jump starts it finally wa with. I purchased a 2009 Chevy 2500 HD and was told by the "salesman" that a new battery would be put in the truck, after 4 jump starts it finally was after fighting for it. The left front tire was scallopped and the :salesman" Mike Camara agreed it was and wpould "take care of it" nver done and the dealership refused to do anything about it, they even put an inspection sticker on truck when another inspection station said it never should have passed. We also purchased an extended warranty and we were told it will cover everything bumper to bumper including a rental if we needed one. I went to this joke of a dealership on 3/15/13 with a check engine light on for an evap sensor trouble and surprise surprise it was not covered under my extended warranty, i am paying for the warranty but cant use it. We were also told by Camara the lying salesman that we would recieve a second key to the vehicle, well we got one after we paid for it and of course he denied ever saying we would get a second key. This place took our money no problem promised things but when the time comes they don't back what they say. We have complaints in with the attorny general and will file another, complaints in with Chevrolet and will file another. Anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle from this place should RUN the other way, they lie, unwilling to do anything to correct a customer problem, they lie, called this place yesterday spoke to someone about problems was told they would get back to me of course they didn't, GUTLESS, they already have our money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE if you do you will be sorry,if you must AVOID MIKE CAMARA he will promise anything and deny he did, REAL 'CLASS ACT' More
Stay FAR away from this dealership. My husband and I went to McGee and purchased a brand new 2013 Silverado. My husband is in love with the truck and when we first arrived our experience was great. Staff was friendly, eager to speak with us, 2013 Silverado. My husband is in love with the truck and when we first arrived our experience was great. Staff was friendly, eager to speak with us, and assist us in any questions we had. We test drove a 2012 left over special and then checked out the 2013 models and my husband liked what he saw, but wanted time to think about it. Since we were stupid enough to hand over our keys for the truck we wanted to trade-in, we were literally trapped. We talked some numbers and requested our keys multiple times and of course each time they came back with a great deal. The last deal was actually amazing and said "today only", My husband knew he wanted a Chevy, so we took the deal. We were told prior to taking the deal that these trucks come with a remote start (which in fact the model they pulled out for us did NOT have it, even after they knew we were interested in that.. and since we were too naïve and too trusting, we got taken on the fact that WE did not carefully review the trucks window sticker.) And since financing had already been signed because we were leaving the dealership with the new truck when we realized there was no remote start (The salesman didn't even realize he said he thought it was something they needed to add on to the key ring) there was suddenly "Nothing that they could do." They offered the starter at retail price and that was it.. And the salesman/sales manager were also not as knowledgeable on the vehicle or his dealership services that are offered. We asked if any maintenance service was included over the next two years, the salesman told us yes and that we would receive some information regarding this, we went through the paperwork there was no information regarding maintenance service and when we inquired about this the next day the sales manager informed us that their dealership doesn't do that!!!!! Chevy website however says they provide it for new 2013 Silverado's and McGee still does not want to honor this even though THEIR EMPLOYEE VERBALLY told us they offered this. Needless to say we should have done our research regarding this dealership first. They were willing to do literally anything for us prior to making a deal, but once everything was signed and finalized it felt like they just did not care about customer service/satisfaction because they already had our money. **Below is an addendum to the top paragraph After 6 days of advocating for ourselves and after we contacted a General Motors Customer Service Specialist, McGee Chevrolet has stated they realized there was an error in the information provided for the 2013 Silverado service program and that we are now entitled to this program. My husband went back to speak to a sales manager today regarding our dissatisfaction and at that time he was made aware of our purchase qualifying for the service program. This has made us feel better with our purchase at this time, but I would recommend anyone wishing to purchase from this dealer to do your research before heading there and never let your guard down. Be your own advocate, because in the long run, the business is only looking out for themselves. (As is any business.) More

We left, another dealership and came to McGee. Immediately upon our arrival we were greeted by Scott Soares, we explained to Scott what we wanted and our budget. So he found us what we wanted and Immediately upon our arrival we were greeted by Scott Soares, we explained to Scott what we wanted and our budget. So he found us what we wanted and went for a test drive. During the test drive, Scott was very professional and NO PRESSURE sales. This did not impress me as much as his dedication and pride in his company. As we talked about the car, he interjected with little history of the the dealership and some unique things about the old dealership location. When he spoke about McGees history he didn't sound like someone who was trying to sell the dealership, but was speaking out of pride and genuine interest in the company he works for. I have bought several cars and have never experienced something like this. I felt as if customer satisfaction and service is paramount at McGee not how much revenue you represent to them. after a small haggle in price we settled on a deal that fit our budget. you would think it would end there, but there was a long wait to see the loan agent. So Scott suggested we drive in the the car we were purchasing the 35 mins. to get the plates off of our old car still at the mechanic. this way we didn't have to wait and could drive it home tonight. again, i was impressed. On our arrival back Scott greeted us again and said we are next up and took the car to be ready for us to drive home, and asked if he wanted us to bring back our rental so we didn't have to. Then it was on to Anthony. the loan guy. his job get us with the extended warranty and sign the papers. when he explained the warranty we declined seeing that it would not fit our needs due to heavy milage we travel, we negotiated a deal for something that fits our needs without raising our payment cap. i know i know they are a bunch of hooey. but they are if you dont take advantage of them. its like having an exercise machine, if you dont use it you threw away money. We also learned that he adjusted down the intrest rate that we initially had and was able to beat out our credit union on rates. I am liking this guy more and more. So after a brief convo with our insurance company we realized that our budget cap is now met with the new insurance quote. What does Anthony do... He goes old world on us told us to call this other guy in the morning, tell him "Anthony sent you" and he will get us better insurance prices. I really don't care if he will get a kick back. Saving money is saving money. We drove off the lot in our car feeling like we chose the right dealership. I am going to tell everyone how great the service was at McGee and recommend Scott and Anthony to anyone who needs a car. More
I did not give a perfect rating because even thou I got a great deal as both my husband and I worked for it, when picking up the car the next day the gas tank was on empty. I asked about this before driving great deal as both my husband and I worked for it, when picking up the car the next day the gas tank was on empty. I asked about this before driving away and was told because I got such a good deal on a used car and therefore not gas. I went to the first gas station and I stopped pumping before it got to full and that was 14.049 gallons of gas. I asked when I went back for the registration how many gallons this car hold and was told 16.1 by the service manager. I was lucky I did not run out of gas before getting to the gas station. As my husband says this was poor salesmanship. More
My experience with McGee Chevrolet has been a good one thus far. I went into this dealership with a number in my head and my dealer (Joseph) did everything he could to meet and exceed my desires. I am not thus far. I went into this dealership with a number in my head and my dealer (Joseph) did everything he could to meet and exceed my desires. It was my first time buying a car today and I had my parents with me. We were able to figure out a deal that was good for both me and the dealership.
