I do not like new car dealers or the new car purchase process. I stopped at McGee Chevrolet late on a Rainy Sunday afternoon to purposely avoid any sales people. After a few minutes of walking the lot, avoiding the front door of the dealership I was approached by a salesman named Jefferson. Jefferson was polite, intelligent and knew the inventory. Jefferson stood out in the cold and the rain showing me the different trucks, options and trim levels on the lot. I told him that I was undecided and he suggested that I make an appointment to come back to review my options and take a test drive. I made the appointment for the next day. I arrived for my appointment very early, jefferson was with another customer and suggested that I meet with another salesperson . Aaron S. Aaron was knowledgeable, polite and most importantly listened to my needs. He did not push any vehicles that he thought I needed. Within an hour or so I was able to pick out a vehicle that I liked and met my needs. I was able to purchase the vehicle with a very short negotiation and no b. s. I am not a patient person, I am very direct and sometimes labelled as difficult. Jefferson , Aaron and all the staff that I interacted with were easy to deal with. Having purchased many new vehicles both for personal and commercial use my recent experience at McGee has been the best. I will buy from McGee again. Thank you Jefferson, Aaron and Mc Gee Chevrolet. I tried this dealer along with another one in my area to bring my 2012 corvette in to have a problem I was having with the leather seat...The service I tried this dealer along with another one in my area to bring my 2012 corvette in to have a problem I was having with the leather seat...The service manager came out took a very quick look at it and said nothing he would do and would not contact the Chevy rep. it was almost as if these service managers have a script written down.... I left the dealer and found one on suggestion from a friend in Hingham... that service manager took the time to look at the seat and discovered the seatbelt clips were cutting into the leather seat...he ordered a new seatbelt assembly and new seat trim and said it was all under warranty as the seatbelt was defective. If perhaps I was not just written off by McGees service manager he might have found the defect himself.....needless to say its time for a new dealer to service my corvette. More

She said they had called my house phone (which I haven't had in years). Gave me attitude when I had to spell out my last name. I had told them the week before my new phone number, and that the car was in my name now, not my fathers, which they apparently didn't listen to. The employees were rude and unhelpful and told me I would have to come back tomorrow, not only inconveniencing me, but inconveniencing my ride to work. This place has awful employees, and not to mention the place looks like a complete dump (and smells like one too) don't waste your time, take the extra 20 minutes and drive to one of the other chevy dealerships. More
worse dealer i ever done business with Went to order a 2014 Corvette Z51 from McGee. After a couple hours of negotiating we came to an agreement. They told me they would give me $49,500. They told me they would give me $49,500. for my trade and they would order my Corvette. they told e I should see the car in 6-8 weeks. Well, 8 weeks later they told me that the Z51 corvette was on "constraint"and the Z51 production was on hold and that they would keep me informed on when it was going back into production. 3 moths later I didn't have my corvette or my trade in. I was willing to settle on any corvette they had in stock because I was losing my patience. I went for a ride to Paul masse Chevrolet in RI to see what they had in stock. I told the salesman my story that I had been waiting 3 months for my car because it was on constraint. The salesman, Sales manager, and their ordering department had confirmed that the Z51 corvette was NOT on constraint! In fact, they could order me one that day and have it within 6 weeks GUARANTEED! So I came to find out that they didn't have the allocation from GM to order anymore Corvettes but they wouldn't tell me this. They just kept lying to me! . So I went back to McGee, Told them I wanted to cancel the deal. I wasn't waiting anymore and they still couldn't be honest. They told me that Paul masse would have the same issue. So they did cancel my order but SCREWED me on my trade in! They told me that they didn't "actually' give me $49,500.00 for my trade in and that they gave me $48,000.00 for my trade and took $1500.00 off the sticker. So there goes 1500.00 and not to mention the $2500.00 I lost in taxes because now I had to pay sales tax on my trade! So less than 6 weeks after ordering my Corvette from PAUL MASSE I AM DRIVING IT! I LOVE IT! Paul masse called or emailed me a couple times a week to keep me posted and did everything they promised! Not like McGee! I wouldn't take a FREE car from them! By the way, the order tracking number Mcgee gave me when I ordered the car through them, STILL HAS NOT BEEN PROCESSED BY GM! Good thing I didn't keep waiting huh? More

I purchased a used car and thought they were great because I had credit challenges. I did not think any one could get me into a new car. Well I drove home in a new car, but 6 days after, I called to check if the car was registered so I could bring it in for a sticker. Apparently the car was yet to be "funded" so they cannot register it. I was in a panic because I only have 7 days by law to get this done. Day 7 NO REGISTRATION. They "fixed" this by writing a new purchase and sales to give me another 7 days. Really? I am not the only one who has hear this from the dealer. On top of that, I was to bring the car in for service (things that needed to be done since I bought it) they tell me I need $100 in order to get them to look at it because the issues are not safety related. WHen I buy a car, I expect it to be in working order or get fixed. Don't wait until the day I bring it in to tell me I need $100 to have it done. More
Lousy Dealership, Lousy Employees, Just Plain Lousy!!! Was going to purchase TWO vehicles on the same visit. Before I even sat in the chair, it was the same old smoke and mirrors. That my price point was too low, instead of $500 per month for both vehicles, they now wanted $700-$800 per month. This is my third trip to this dealership in past five years, every time leaving frustrated. Never again, they make you feel insignificant. The whole bunch, from the senior management down. Must be a trickle down effect they teach when they start working there. The more people you crush with your thumb, the higher position you get. There is no price negotiation, not even $500. Guess the great recession didn't make them change their ways at all. DO NOT EVER VISIT THIS DEALERSHIP, NEVER MIND MAKE A PURCHASE, YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!!! More
