CUSTOMER DISRESPECT AT IT'S BEST Without question, the McGee buying experience was by far the worst of my lifetime. I have purchased many vehicles and never could have imagined that a dealership operates the way McGee Chevrolet does. There is clearly a culture within the dealership that reflects a complete lack of appreciation for the customer. On the night of the purchase I was introduced to Jamie McKay. He mentioned that I should be sure to recommend McGee to others. After my experience I have an altered opinion of McGee Chevrolet. It is evident that the customer is neither appreciated nor respected. The staff could have made it right but elected not to for whatever reason. The staff failed to even offer an apology for the less than professional behavior of several of the staff members. The unprofessional staff includes Sales Management and Finance staff. I could not believe that a member of the Finance staff actually blocked a doorway. I now understand some of the many adverse reviews that have been posted. At the end of the day I got the used vehicle I wanted at what I believe to be a fair price, but was treated with disrespect and contempt. I regret that I did not walk away. I will not soon forget the buying experience that I had with McGee Chevrolet and I will be sure to share it with others. JA More

Worst dealer First off none of the salesman knew the price of the truck so they said a number and after the test drive they said a higher price. Also they said the First off none of the salesman knew the price of the truck so they said a number and after the test drive they said a higher price. Also they said they would fix the brakes and bumper on the truck and didn't end up doing it. They said they fixed the brakes but I'm an automotive tech and have been working in the industry for some time now and I'll tell you they did nothing. I ended up just taking the truck because they were so hard to deal with. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND FELT THREATENED Easily the worst customer experience I have ever had anywhere hands down. The pressure to buy at that moment was unbearable. 3 sales people and their manager all would not let us leave their store. They actually even held our car keys and were rude about handing them back to us. I asked several times for my car keys back (they had them from checking the VIN#) and was even told by the manager "what are you going to do about it" when they would not hand them back to me. If you feel like following my reviews check their facebook page, their twitter, and any TV news channels who will respond to me. This is a company that should not be allowed to deal with the public. Worst experience ever and I felt threatened inside their store in Raynham. More

Didn't follow up on things they said they would do I purchased a 2014 silverado and began the experience neong happy it wasn't untili was getting ready to pick up my truck that it went down hill. I I purchased a 2014 silverado and began the experience neong happy it wasn't untili was getting ready to pick up my truck that it went down hill. I had requested the repair history on the vehicle and they said they would give it to me to get the sail but it was never produced. Imade a confirmed appointment to pick up my truck . When i arrived i was put into the waiting area, allof my paperwork has already been completed i was just picking up, i continued to wait an hour until i complained that enough was enough. My salesman appeared and we proceeded to do a 5 minute delivery. I mentioned to my salesman Aron, that i needed my old plates. He said he would take care of them, he didn't. When I called to complain to a manager he said they would send me my plates overnight they didnt. There was no inspection stickeron the truck so I have to go back. The only positive wasthe finance manager, I found him to be very professional to deal with. More

They ended up charging me $2.6K over the price we agreed. They treat you nice at the beginning, but once you sign the papers, you can forget about it. The salesman was Jason Brown, who is too busy to call or text back, and the finance manager Anthony Monteiro is always too busy to see you or reply calls/emails. Same thing with the general manager, to put it simply this is not a serious dealer, you can't trust their word, they'll overcharge you and then disappear on you, if you're looking for a car go to a serious car dealer that will stand by their word. I know I'll never go back to McGee, unless they are willing to make it right. I'm going to file complaints at the BBB the FTC and the consumer protection agency. More

Great experience with the sales guy. Let me start out by saying, I hate going to car dealerships and have to hear the bull crap the sales people throw at you. So, I already go in with a c Let me start out by saying, I hate going to car dealerships and have to hear the bull crap the sales people throw at you. So, I already go in with a chip on my shoulder and little to no patience. Lets face it there are dealerships up and down RTE. 44 i can go to. Ok, enough of that. After a couple of minutes in the lot i was approached by a sales person (Bob Medeiros). This guy was great, he took his time with me, answered all of my questions, and didnt pressure me. This is the way car buying should be. Needless to say I did buy from them, and Bob made the whole process painless. I would and will be back to this dealership for my next purchase (17 year old son) Thanks Bob! More
Deception at its finest. Never again! Deceptive business practices, creating confusion at its finest. Prices on McGee's website change daily. Was told I could not get in a $28k truck at Deceptive business practices, creating confusion at its finest. Prices on McGee's website change daily. Was told I could not get in a $28k truck at a payment I was comfortable with due to negative equity in my trade-in. Negotiate on a lesser, base model truck based on a payment I was comfortable with, and when we get to the paperwork, the sales contract shows the sales price at $28k (not the $25,900 that was advertised on the their website). When I call the next day to question this, the price mysteriously is raised to $33,900 on their website (while autotrader, Edmunds, etc. all show the original $25,900 price), and I'm all of a sudden getting a fantastic deal. The explanation is that they can only finance so much negative equity so they are inflating trade value and in turn can raise the price of the truck....but I thought the truck was $33,900, not $25,900 anymore...confused yet? Further, I say well ok, if I am financing the sticker price of the vehicle I originally wanted to purchase, I would like to buy the original vehicle. I was told that I could not have that vehicle, because they won't give me as much for my trade. Maybe I am mistaken or naïve, but I thought a trade offer was what it was, and not subject to change per deal. We were repeatedly told by our salesman that he didn't even know what the sticker prices or interest rates were, but the numbers will shake out to get us our desired payment, but only on that one truck. Long story short we purchased the truck as we needed a vehicle due to the condition of our previous vehicle, but definitely do not feel as though this deal was transparent or above-board by any means. We asked for a trailer hitch from the previous vehicle to be removed so we could take it when we picked it up an were told they can't remove it but we can if we want. Further, the new vehicle was on empty. I purchased another family vehicle days before this from another dealer, and it was night and day. Sticker price never changed, payment was determined before financing, trade in value didn't change from vehicle to vehicle, car was clean, full tank of gas and one final sweep was done of prior vehicle to be sure nothing was left behind. This deal was a complete nightmare and I would never, ever, recommend this dealership to anyone in the future. Awful, awful, awful. So disappointed. More
