Typical Dealer (my opinion only) The business development manager of this dealership indicated that he would not provide a price on a new truck (even with a detailed request for propo The business development manager of this dealership indicated that he would not provide a price on a new truck (even with a detailed request for proposal) prior to me visiting the showroom floor. He said this is the McGee sales model and, I'm paraphrasing, 'take it or leave it'. He went on to tell me how they doubled their business in the last year and that they could beat any other competitive price. For the record, it is certainly within this dealerships Rights to do business how they see fit. That said, it's fair to question why they can't provide their best price up front without visiting the showroom floor, particularly if they;re that confident in their price; and, it is absolutely fair to infer from the other comment that they sell so many cars that they don't need little old me... My further opinion is that demanding people visit the show room for a price is simply a tactic to get people into the sales funnel (meat grinder) where most consumers are the most susceptible to sales pressure. Either way, there are dealerships that were happy to provide a price and I will deal with them. I will not ask McGee to do me any favors by letting me buy a Truck from them! More

I was lied to by the sales person I went in and purchased a 2016 Chevy Malibu LTZ. I realize when I got home it didn’t have some of the features Brendan told me it had. Manny is the man,Anthony is a beast,Diane is a boss I went into this dealership with very low expectations on acquiring a dream car of mine that is the Chevrolet Camaro SS (2015-2019)..I went in and was I went into this dealership with very low expectations on acquiring a dream car of mine that is the Chevrolet Camaro SS (2015-2019)..I went in and was greeted warmly by Manny who I immediately built a solid rapport with.I told him my situation that I was only visiting to get numbers I’d be looking at if I had a co-signer with me to help aid in the acquiring of this vehicle since at a prior dealership I needed one for a lower end camaro (2 LT)...Manny assured me that I would be able to get approved on my own without a co-signer for the 2015 Camaro SS,I was very apprehensive but figured ehhhh whatever...sure enough 30+ minutes later I was notified by him and Anthony (finance department) that I got approved BY MYSELF!!...within an hour I agreed to terms and the car was officially mine..I returned the next day and picked up my vehicle early in the morning...a very surreal experience as I had just previously been driving a Buick Verano...the insurance for my Buick Verano was 200 dollars...when I had gotten an estimate for my new car the Camaro,it was going to run me 400+ dollars a month!!I immediately contacted Manny and he had connected me with a woman in S&L insurance ,a woman that helps insure all their cars...again Manny assured me that the woman named Diane of S&L insurance was extremely good at what she does.... an hour later Diane informed me that my insurance would be $150 a month!!!....all in all Manny is the epitome of what a sales person should be,he did not talk to me as just a sales person but someone who is like a long time friend and you can tell that he truly cares for his work and putting individuals in the best situation possible.Mannys knowledge of the vehicle I was looking for was impeccable and his diligence was unmatched by any salesman I ever met...Anthony in the finance department was extremely well versed in terms and working numbers to have them work in my favor,and Diane was so helpful and easy to talk to as well...I throughly enjoyed my experience and I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for their next vehicle in the New England area no matter how far away,to reach out to these folk.Manny thank you so much again my friend. He greeted us with a smile and handshake and welcomed us to McGee Chevrolet. We showed him what truck we were looking for, he grabbed the keys so we could go for a test drive. When we returned we sat with him and explained everything about the truck, he took the time to talk with us, with no pressure at all. He has a great personality, biggest smile and EXCELLENT customer service!!!! Because of him we are now the owners of a new truck. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Manny's the MAN!!!! More

Awful Dealer - Terrible New Car Purchase Experiance The sales rep (Josh) lacked integrity and professionalism. In addition, a new car sales rep should know the flagship brand vehicles details (i.e. I as The sales rep (Josh) lacked integrity and professionalism. In addition, a new car sales rep should know the flagship brand vehicles details (i.e. I asked if the car had a timing belt or timing chain – he answered by asking me which was better, and when I answered he said “oh, that one”). I had already done the research on the vehicle I wanted, McGee had the exact model and color I wanted – this should have been the most trouble-free new car purchase once price had been negotiated; it was not. This was far from my first new car purchase; I’m over 50. I had come in pre-approved through a CapitalOne program (that McGee is a member), but the finance department ran my credit against numerous creditors for no justifiable reason, as I said that I would go through GM Financial if approved at the time I signed the sales agreement. There was no reason to slam my credit with multiple hard inquiries (causing a negative impact on my credit score). I also made a deposit on the car that was never applied to the final purchase. I finally had to go directly to my credit card company to put in a claim to get my money back (after being told multiple times by the dealer that this would be credited back to me). The credit card company was very good to deal with, and I am now whole on the deposit thanks to CapitalOne – not the dealer. It took a few days for the dealer to register the car for me, so I had to wait a few days to take it home (this was understandable). However, when I arrived to pick it up I was told they could only locate one key, and that they would order me another and I would have it in a few days (they would mail it to me, as I live over an hour away); it took a month. I had to call multiple times each week asking where the key was, and each time I was lied to by my sales rep (too many excuses to list here, I ended up hanging up the phone on the sales rep). I finally called parts directly and was then informed that a key had “just been” ordered under my name (after a month of me calling); and then I was informed that it could not just be mailed to me as I was told because it had to be configured with the car onsite. Finally, the part arrived at the dealership a few days later and then I had to beg to get the service set up to do it on a schedule that would work for me. Again I was traveling over an hour to have them do it - something that should have been taken care of when I first picked it up (after all it was a brand new car, < 50 miles on it. I am pleased with the car, and I did end up getting a good price (after I walked out on their offer, and they called me the next day to accept the one I made them). In retrospect, I should have bought it closer to home; even if it wasn’t a perfect vehicle match, or cost me a bit more. The unnecessary time spent traveling back and forth over numerous days, and the amount of hours I had to put into calling the dealer on issues was not worth the savings - not once did the dealer reach out to me in a proactive way to resolve the issue(s), I had to make all the calls to them. They did offer ‘free’ a year or two scheduled maintenance with a new car purchase (equates to about 2 free oil changes) – no way I would ever go back to them for anything. I’m glad that I’m done with them forever – and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid McGee Chevrolet in Raynham MA. More
