I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and it was one of the most frustrating car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. The only reason I even considered this dealership was because they had the exact vehicle I was looking for with low mileage—I had no interest in anything else on their lot. I initially worked with Rich, who was professional, but then I was handed off to salesman JOEL MICHELSEN, and that’s when things went downhill. He was aggressive, pushy, and dismissive, doing everything he could to pressure me into buying that day. When I expressed hesitation about the vehicle, he repeatedly hit me with condescending remarks like, “YOU’RE NOT BUYING A LAMBORGHINI.” After nearly 30 minutes of relentless sales tactics, he pretended to negotiate a “perfect world deal,” which turned out to be the exact same price we started with. The entire process felt like a manipulative sales game rather than a professional transaction. Unfortunately, the poor service didn’t stop there. It took almost a week for my vehicle registration to be available. Since I live nearly 40 minutes away, I requested it be mailed to me, which they did. However, I was told I’d be reimbursed for the $35 state inspection fee after providing proof of payment. I sent the receipt as requested, but despite following up, I still haven’t received my reimbursement. The vehicle also had noticeable scratches, and I was promised they would either be buffed out or I’d receive touch-up paint. While the scratches looked slightly improved at pickup, they quickly became visible again—a clear sign of poor-quality detailing. To make matters worse, the vehicle only came with one key, and when I asked about a second, I was told they would reach out to the previous owner. That follow-up never happened. Now, I’m stuck paying over $250 for a replacement key—something I’d expect from a small corner-lot dealership, not a supposedly reputable one. This dealership relies on high-pressure sales tactics, empty promises, and poor follow-through. From start to finish, this was an exhausting and disappointing experience. Manny was great but when Joel Michelsen stepped in everything changed. The tactics used and condescending way he talked to me was appalling and beyond disrespectful. Long story short, I could pay cash for a new Z71 but would never give your business a dime of my money. As we were trying to leave Joel said "this guy is a cu@t" to Samson and Manny. If this is how Marine Corps veterans are treated there, I can only imagine how others are treated. I'll make sure to review your business everywhere I can. More
