We really enjoyed working with Anthony at McGrath Lexus. We were searching for the right vehicle for our family, and looked at several different makes and models. In our experiences with other dealerships in the Chicago area, we really appreciated the way Anthony took care of us. We were not bombarded by sales calls and email reminders all the time. However, he was always available when we needed him. Even better than our experience making a purchase, we are thrilled with the service at McGrath Lexus after our purchase. It is a wonderful place to hang out while the car is getting an oil change, Anthony keeps us up to date with what our car needs, we stop by for free coffee and car washes all the time, and he even sets up car washes for our other (non-Lexus) family car. We are very pleased with our experience at McGrath and with Anthony Swanke. When our other car dies, there is no doubt where we will turn! More

We only arrived in the UK about 3 weeks ago and was renting a car. We needed to get our own car quickly. We rang Lexus and arranged to meet Vasiliy. He was waiting for us when we arrived, offered us renting a car. We needed to get our own car quickly. We rang Lexus and arranged to meet Vasiliy. He was waiting for us when we arrived, offered us a drink and discussed our needs. Within 10 mins of being their we were having a test drive of a new car. We loved it. However being new to the US we did not have any Credit score so were unable to get a lease. We left but returned the next day to look at used cars. Again Vasiliy took care of us and we found a car we liked and could afford to buy. We went on a test drive and even picked our son up from school. The car was a few years ok'd so had one or two scratches. Lexus offered to get the card cleaned up so we could view it the next day. If we did not like it we could walk away. Needless to say they did a great job and we bought the car. The only slight downside, was the being passed around to sort the paperwork out. It took a little while but Vasiliy made sure we were okay. He even helped us get insurance quotes while our son played on the indoor putting green and went for shakes at the cafe. I hope the aftersales and service etc is as good. More
I needed to have the rear "object sensors" replaced. Dwayne tried to fix, rather than replace, them. That did not work, meaning I made one 130 mile round trip for nothing. However, when I called Dwayne to report that that "fix" hadn't worked, he did drive that same 130 mile trip twice--to bring me a loner to use, and also to bring me my repaired car:) More
I had talked to vasilly on the phone prior to arriving at the dealership, and was happy to hear that every thing that he had agreed to on the phone earlier in the day was actually going to occur! So often you are made promises on the phone, that end up not being honored at the dealership, I was very happy to see this was not going to happen at McGrath Lexus! My experience was so good, that we went back later and bought another car! More

With the sale happening so fast in the evening, I was not able to carefully check out all the missing items in my car. What I found out the following day was of concern to me: 1.Missing original carpet mats. WHEN I ASKED WHERE THEY WERE, I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT INCLUDED. I THOUGHT MATS WERE STANDARD AND SHOULD BE INCLUDED WITH THE CAR. I WAS OFFERED A BASIC "MCGRATH" MAT FOR THE FRONT SEATS ONLY. 2.Missing third key. NOT INCLUDED, WAS TOLD IT WOULD COST EXTRA. I ONLY RECEIVED ONE MASTER KEY AND ONE VALET KEY. 3.Aftermarket protective door edge coating was peeling and scuffed. IT WAS AGREED THE DEALER WOULD REPLACE ONE DOOR COATING, BUT THE REST WOULD BE AT MY COST. I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT ALL THE DOOR EDGE COATINGS WOULD BE REPLACED INCLUSIVE OF THE PURCHASE PRICE WHEN IT WAS FIRST DISCUSSED. After I discussed this issue with Vasiliy, he responded in several different ways that this car is sold "as is". And if things are missing, it is your cost to pay for them. I understand buying a previously owned car is "different" than a new car. However, buying at McGrath give me the confidence that these "small" items to make the car "complete" would be included in the purchase price. I do hope customer service dept will see my point and provide me with the requested items. Overall the experience was positive and I am happy to remain a McGrath customer as I have been for the past 12 years. Vasiliy is a good salesman, however I believe he should have pointed out the "missing items" before I agreed on the price. More
My initial experience with Anthony and McGrath was very positive. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Anthony clearly knows the products well and worked hard to find the car that was right for me. We recently bought a Lexus GX470 from McGrath ..I really like the salesman who helped us out, his name was Nick.He's friendly, efficient, and really wanted to see you leave happy and he did everything possi like the salesman who helped us out, his name was Nick.He's friendly, efficient, and really wanted to see you leave happy and he did everything possible to make sure that we got the best price and some very nice extras. And also , he showed us all the things about the car as we sat in it and he explained all the knobs and buttons and what everything does, which is great because most places don't do that, they just give it to you and your so excited just to leave you sometimes really don't know how to work some of the stuff.
