McGrath City Hyundai - Service Center

I came into dealer to have some service on my car completed as well as one of 6 free scothguards/waxes completed. I received the free scothguards when I purchased the car. It turned out to be a rainy completed as well as one of 6 free scothguards/waxes completed. I received the free scothguards when I purchased the car. It turned out to be a rainy day so Christine went out of her way to make sure I would receive another complimentary scotchguard due to the rainy weather. She was not even the service represenative I was working with; she just overheard the conservation with the service represenative I was working with and didnt think I should have to use my complimentary scotchguard when it was such a rainy day and issued another one to me. Christine is great and her customer service is fantastic! More

Christine and Ed in the service department are the most friendliest, courteous and helpful employees I've ever dealt with when it comes to servicing a car. You know how you go into a service department an friendliest, courteous and helpful employees I've ever dealt with when it comes to servicing a car. You know how you go into a service department and start describing noises and the service person looks at you like your nuts????? They don't do that at McGrath City Hyundai. They understand the problem right at the start and I don't need to explain further. They are also very timely with their repairs (I've never had a repair or service take longer than one day) in the two years I've owned my Hyundai. Even waiting for a service is a short wait in the showroom lounge. And kudos to the technicians too! I want to also mention I had my car detailed this last visit and my two year old car now looks and smells brand new. Way better than a detail specialist place and the price was even less!! Never expected that from a "dealership". Totally recommend McGrath City Hyundai-they have my business for life! More

She remembers me and makes me feel welcome every time. One Saturday, when I was in my 6th months of pregnancy I had a threaten miscarriage at the dealership getting my oil change. I was so worried about messing up their chair while I waited for the ambulance, Chirstine was right by my side telling me everything was going to be ok and don’t worry about the chair. While I was at the hospital Christine contacted my husband to make sure we were ok. She even followed up every day until she heard my voice and I told her me and the baby is fine. I carried my son full term and he is now 9 months. Every time I go in for service my family and I look forward to seeing Chirstine. I have several Hyundai dealers I can go to for an oil change but we drive an extra 20 minutes because of the great service, people, and honesty we get from McGrath Hyundai. Eddie & Christine were wonderful! My car was damaged by the city of Chicago when I had it towed there. Eddie called me right away with a quote, the next day my car was ready to be picked up! Tragically, that same night my Brother-in-law was killed in a car accident. Needless to say, I rushed home to Minnesota to be with my family. I for my part, was not communicating with Eddie as well as I should have. He called me a few times and left voice mails, every message he left me he was very polite, never rude when I am sure he was frustrated and annoyed, and just wanted to know where the heck I was and when I was going to pick up my car! When I finally got back to Chicago I spoke to Christine, I had just left my brother in laws funeral and was still pretty upset when we spoke. She was SO kind and understanding of my situation. When I came in this afternoon to pick up my car she even hugged me and told me to take care! It was such a small gesture, but I genuinely appreciated it! Although I am leaving Chicago, I have already told a number of people how fantastic the service dept is! More

I went in for my oil change which included a car wash which is fantastic service! Eddie greeted me with a smile as usual! From the moment the doors open in the service section someone is there to greet you. As you describe what is wrong with your vehicle the service area personel actually listen. Christine arranged for me to have a loaner for the 2 days that my vehicle was being serviced. I was given an update as to what was found to be wrong with my vehicle and also given a time that they believed that my vehicle would be fixed and ready for pickup. Christine is very professional and helpful. Most people hate going to the dealer service area, I'm guessing that they have never been to McGrath and had Christine help them. More
