Stay far away from the salesman Frank Torres. He lied over and over and made my buying experience horrible. The sales manager is not much better. They both failed to mention that there is a $200 document over and over and made my buying experience horrible. The sales manager is not much better. They both failed to mention that there is a $200 documentation fee and $1000 certification fee on their used car after I repeatedly asked if there were an additional fees. I understand that the car selling is a business and they need to make money too but I don't want to tricked and lied to. The list of lies is too long to list here. If not for the decent sticker price, I would have not walked out, I would have ran out of this place. Please refrain from Frank Torres. More
Christine in the service department is the best. I would highly recommend dealing with her. McGrath has a very friendly and upbeat environment. I got a reasonable deal on my car and everybody was very helpful. Went it with car in mind and Frank helped us, detailing everything we wanted to know about car. First car purchase and it went very smoothly. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend McGrath City Hyundai. They do good work and get it done in a timely manner. Very friendly staff! Christine Tonelli is very kind and approachable. Anytime I go for a car wash, she takes care of me in an efficient manner. Last time, I went for an oil change as well, and she is always very helpful and all I go for a car wash, she takes care of me in an efficient manner. I gave this dealership two tries to get it right. At the beginning of my first visit, Marcus seemed very eager and helpful. He also gave me a fair offer when we started crunching the numbers. He introduced me to Jody, one of the managers, and that's when it started to get weird. All of a sudden, they can't find the color that I wanted ANYWHERE in Illinois. (I found over a dozen when I checked after I got home) After I gave them my second color choice, Marcus walked me out the door saying he'll call me at the end of the day to let me know what he found. Never heard back. But I was willing to give them another chance. I stopped by the following weekend to follow up. Marcus never apologized for not calling me back. I informed him that I was still interested in getting the Tucson and can be flexible with the color. He spoke with Jody and came back to tell me that there will be a shipment in nine days and I'll be the first one they'll call when the car gets in. We shook hands and I told him I'm looking forward to getting my new Tucson. Things were looking optimistic when I also received a follow up call from Jody that afternoon saying he's looking forward to earning my business, and I will definitely get a call from them in nine days. It's been three weeks and I still have not heard back from them. No updates, no nothing. Don't waste your time on this dealership unless you want to fall through the cracks. More
