Let's be honest: people who have been around hate going to car dealers. It never ceases to amaze me how ill treated one can be at these places. I have to say, however, that my first experience at McGrath to car dealers. It never ceases to amaze me how ill treated one can be at these places. I have to say, however, that my first experience at McGrath will not be my last. I was treated as if they were genuinely glad to have me there and to do what they could to assist me. These are people who work extremely hard, and with exceedingly long hours, and, at least at this place, it didn't show. They fixed a problem that could have cost me three to four hundred dollars, and decided to to it for *free*! -- they seem to be the real deal, and I'd recommend them highly. James More
30 days ago I bought a car from here...I wish nothing was wrong with it but there was and they did have my car for 21 days. They did make right by it and fixed everything that was wrong with it. They did not wrong with it but there was and they did have my car for 21 days. They did make right by it and fixed everything that was wrong with it. They did not have to do this but then again im sure we all wish I wasnt sold a car that needed to be fixed in the first place. I worked with Jody and Kathleen and they did right by me and for that I will go back to them. Thank you for making this right and standing by your word. More

Customer service is really bad and they don't respect your time. They are very pushy. If they call you for coming down for test drive then don't go..they will push you to buy a car and if you say you do your time. They are very pushy. If they call you for coming down for test drive then don't go..they will push you to buy a car and if you say you do not want buy car today then their attitude will change..they become rude and they will keep you waiting if you want to see few other cars. I went their to see Honda CRV. I had called them before going to this place because their picture on website were not clear and I wanted to see interior of CRV, the sales guy said, CR-V will be ready to see when I am here. I went there but CRV was NOT ready so I was checking out Honda Accord which they had in showroom and I told them I liked it but I want to see CRV. So Chris, sales guy, asked me, am I going to buy car today, I said no, not sure. As soon as I said that their attitude changed..one guy said CRV is sold..other guy said it will take some time to show me the CRV so can I come tomorrow again. I said I drove 30mins to see CRV and now you are asking me to come tomorrow because the store is closing? Really?? I asked them why did you call me to come down and see a car? They said sorry, they couldn't make CRV ready to show me but come again tomorrow. Guess what, they didn't even call me next day. I won't go here again even if they will call me again. Btw, prices will look great but they have hidden charges...so be careful even if you want to go with these people. More
Honda assisted me in lowering the price of a lumbar support. I was very frustrated that the lumbar support "broke" (according to the service department) since the car is less than 4 years old. I have been in the market looking for a new car for several months now. After dealing with extremely poor customer service with dealerships I was uncertain if I should continue looking for a car. But several months now. After dealing with extremely poor customer service with dealerships I was uncertain if I should continue looking for a car. But I decided to contact McGrath Honda and after talking with Ruby Gonzalez, the Internet Sales Consultant, I was very excited to conduct business with McGrath. After my inquire about purchasing a car Ruby followed up with me, the next day, not only by phone but by email. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions regarding the car and the options the dealer offered. She also advised who to talk to when coming into the dealership. That was a plus for me because there is nothing like going to a dealer and getting approached by 25 different sales people. Upon arrival Jerry Lopata assisted me right away. He was also very friendly. He told me the differences between all the different models and instructed me on which car would be better suited for my needs. He also worked hard on getting me the best deal possible and when faced with a a couple of small obstacles he stayed positive. Overall McGrath Honda has some of the best customer service and this was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I would recommend McGrath Honda for purchasing a car. More
After a glitch when a quote that did not reflect what I was promised was emailed, I was able to get a quote that was even a bit better through the New Car Sales Manager Jeremy Gleason. When I went to bu was promised was emailed, I was able to get a quote that was even a bit better through the New Car Sales Manager Jeremy Gleason. When I went to buy the car, he stood behind the quote and gave me a good price on a few items that were on the car that would have had to be taken off. He also turned me over to Tom Corey, who was a pleasure to work with. Tom showed me the features of the car and let me take a test drive. He also went with me to help me return my rental car, when I told him I had to do that by a certain time to avoid additional charges, after the price had been negotiated. The person in charge of financing, Frank, pushed a bit to get me to take an additional warranty but gave me good terms on it and it will help me have greater peace of mind. Everyone seemed so friendly and willing to answer any questions and take as much time as was necessary. I spent a great deal of time with Frank and kept going over certain paperwork because initially it didn't seem right (but it was) and he was so nice and patient and waited til I was completely satisfied. Again, Tom was great and even gave me his card with his cell phone no. on it and said he would check with me about three days later to see how things were going with the car. It took me about four hours because I am ultra careful about everything, but it was a very pleasant experience working with everyone, including Juana, the person who initially responded to my Internet request. I first got a quote from one dealer and they were able to match it and then go 5% of the difference lower. I felt that I got a good deal and am happy I took the plunge. More

I went in to McGrath and everyone is very nice and professional. I appreciated Fred's laid back and honest personality. I felt like I was being treated fair, as a woman, this is very important. CUSTOMER SERVICE: After going back and forth for about 3 to 4 times with the sales man walking over to his boss every time, the boss finally got up from his seat to the sales man's desk. The manager wasn't to 4 times with the sales man walking over to his boss every time, the boss finally got up from his seat to the sales man's desk. The manager wasn't of any help as he only told me that he couldn't give me the price I wanted. I was being reasonable with the price. He wasn't even trying to negotiate a good deal. I thought we were in a recession. Besides the car was from a trade in, wasn't serviced, no car wash, no detailing job, 2 open recalls, and 3 previous owners. Are you kidding?? You couldn't have given me a better deal? All the manger seemed to focus on was on how I was only buying a used car. His best deal was I can sell you a tire at cost. Why sell used cars then, if they're going to talk down on the people buying them. The finance guy seemed a little unapproachable like if he was in a bad mood, having a bad day, or just hates his job. He sounded like a robot and pretty much rushed everything. Good thing I caught the extra charge he was trying to charge me for plates I already had. When I said my insurance company was going to finance it he had something smart to say about them. Quality of Work: At the service center when I had to go pick up my car, a young guy standing on a podium was of no help. He had no idea or clue as to what was going on with my car. A mechanic had to drive it over after he figured it out. Once the car was by the garage exit, I thought it was good to go since that's what the guy at the podium said but then it was reversed to by where I was standing by the mechanic. No one gave me papers to sign or informed me of any paperwork so I was standing around looking confused like are we done, am I good to go, what's next? I had to request the service report they were supposed to give me just to make sure they did what they were supposed to do. The following day I find out that my car needed a brand new battery that had to come out of my pocket. Obviously the car wasn't inspected to begin with. I never got my car wash or detailing job. FRIENDLINESS: The only person that was friendly was a girl that gave me the loaner, a different girl that approached me when I dropped off the loaner, and the sales guy. The manager, finance guy, service guy on the podium were all of no help and unfriendly overall. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Was terrible. I didn't get my car serviced the way it should have been, I didn't get the deal I wanted, the manager was insulting, and up until today after hunting the sales guy down, I still haven't gotten my valet key. This place is definitely not a 1st time visitor friendly place. My sister and friend were looking to buy a Honda there but now they lost 3 customers including myself. PRICE: It was OK. It could of been better but the manager refused to cooperate, negotiate, and was insulting towards used car purchases. I could of gotten a way better price on the used car that was unserviced, unwashed, 2 open recalls, and 3 previous owners, 2 dents, ripped tires, and no spare key! More
