After my experience with this dealership, I wonder about two main things. One is how Honda can continue to issue a license to this dealer knowing how poor customer service is. The second is how people continue to frequent this establishment for service. Perhaps it is because it is the only Honda dealership in the area. My experience started on December 19, 2014 when I purchased a "certified" 2014 Honda Accord. George W. was my salesman and I found him to be a straight shooting businessman. He was knowledgeable and even returned my e-mails after the sale. The Finance Manager was nice as well. Sure, he kept pushing an extended warranty on a certified car which I ultimately told him was a stupid idea and he relented. The Finance Manager was honest and friendly. The only improvement during the sales process would be timing and safety. It took over 4 hours to purchase a $22K car and the location of this dealership is not safe. Most of the cars are located across the street on Grand Avenue, which is dangerous to cross. My main issue with this dealership centers on the despicable service it offers. Shortly after the sale, I noticed that the driver's side mirror was loose. It was not scratched or scuffed and I thought this would have been caught in the 150 point inspection to make a Honda "certified". I e-mailed Bob Jaskolski about the issue because after all, he sent me an e-mail telling me that service was paramount to him. No response....ever. I took the car in on February 6 and was appalled by the lack of service. After you pull in, there is no one to greet you. No signs direct you where to go. Do I go to the right to where people ignore you? To the left where people pretend to look busy? Finally, John Sillitti (service advisor) was able to "help" me. After conferring with the used car manager, he agreed to replace the mirror. I was told that the mirror would be in within a week and I would receive a call. Three weeks later, I call John and am told that the records show that the last time I was in was in December. What happened to my visit from February 6? He tells me I need to speak to the parts guy who is waiting by the phone for my call. He transfers me and it goes to voicemail. I leave a message. No response.....ever. I call John back and leave a message. No call back. So, I drive all the way from Schaumburg to speak to John. He confirms that someone forgot to order the mirror and it would be in by March 6. March 6 comes and goes and I get no answer. Now, I call Aimee Both. She immediately calls back (yay!) and says she will get on it. She calls back and informs me that John told her I was working with someone else. Perhaps the Wizard of Oz in John's mind. She states that they have a passenger side mirror for me but it was ordered wrong! First, no one bothers to call me. Second, they cannot order the right part. She assured me that it will be in by March 13. Anyone seen the movie Groundhog Day? LOL So, during the week of March 9, I took my car to Schaumburg Honda to have a remote starter installed. They informed me of the mirror as well as bad molding on the rear mirror (I guess this dealer does inspections) and replaced both with GREAT service. In summary, this dealership has selection. That is about it. The service department and its staff (mainly John Sillitti and Bob Jaskolski) are horrible and I truly wonder how Honda continues to issue a license to these individuals. More

I was extremely apprehensive in leasing a car, and he was helpful, informative , trustworthy, and kind. At the end Alex went through the entire details of the car and instructed me on all the ins and out of operating this vehicle . He was not condescending but, was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. I would recommended MCGRATH City to anyone. More

A dirty dealership--literally and figuratively. First, I received a quote via email for a 2015 Fit EX that seemed too good to be true. It was. By almost $3,000. The dealership was lucky the quote expired on a Thursday and I couldn't make it in until Saturday, so they didn't have to honor it. When I got to the dealership, the only question I was asked was what color I wanted. When I said I had more important concerns like financing and trade-in value, I was dismissed and again asked what color I wanted. Sigh. When the salesman presented me with the sell sheet, not only was the price of the new car $3,000 higher than anticipated, my trade-in value was $2,000 less than kbb! When I reviewed the printout they gave me of the kbb.com site, I realized they hadn't even priced out the right car. I was trading a 2011 FIT *Sport* and they looked up the hatchback. When I pointed this out to him, he shrugged his shoulders and said all FITs were hatchbacks. He then proceeded to tell me that my 2011 needed a new bumper, brakes and tires--it had 36,200 miles!!! I left. I bought my new 2015 FIT the following Monday at Valley Honda in Aurora and can't begin to express what a wonderful experience I had there. I would encourage anyone to make the trip to Aurora if you're serious about buying a car. More
This dealer is the absolute worst!!!! ????? UPDATE: after bringing the car in on Friday I was guaranteed that the car was driven every single day nonstop to try to figure out what the prob ????? UPDATE: after bringing the car in on Friday I was guaranteed that the car was driven every single day nonstop to try to figure out what the problem is and still the dealer could not find an issue with the car so as Mike the general manager suggested I decided to bring in the car to another dealer! While I was picking up my car and dropping off the loaner car I will look at the miles and only 6 miles were put on my car from Friday to Wednesday. Does dad seem like they were really trying to find the problem that the car has , when I specifically said I drive a lot daily??? At this point I feel like I am getting discriminated against and I need to get an attorney involved to resolve the issue !!!!!! I purchased a Honda fit in July 2014 it was a brand-new 2015 black on black Honda fit I was so happy to get a brand-new car and so excited for many trips to Michigan but that was all cut short when out of nowhere the Honda wouldn't start. I took it in and they said that it can be a cause of the neon lights that were plugged into the car I know for 100% that was not it because it started happening before the neon lights were plugged in but nevertheless we took them out and the issue is still at hand. I am very unsatisfied with how everything is being handled because I have to keep coming back to Honda with no positive results and on top of that people look at me like it's something I'm doing wrong. Being a single mother and walking in with my child makes me an easy target at least that's how I feel going into Honda and complaining about yet another problem that my brand-new car has. Please please think twice before buying a new car Because new isn't always better. More

The guy I was closing the deal with said OK no problems, he told me WE HAVE TO RUN ONE AND THE BANK THAT WE HAVE TO RUN ONE. I said OK I was approved with Chase. McGraph run one credit enquirer and chase. Finance guy added some insurance for $2000 without asking me I told him to remove it. He said SORRY I PUT IT ACCIDENTALLY. He offered me some other extra stuff that I did not accept. Next day I had five more credit equerries without my approval, when the deal was closed with chase, and I drove out with the car. They told me they was trying to save me some money when I got approved 4.9% score 680, second vehicle. They also told me when I signed credit application that they can do up to 25 enquirers. What a trying to get me low interest. Playing with peoples personal info and credit More
