My experience at Acura of Libertyville was a very good one. From the moment I sent my first email inquiring about the car to the time I made the purchase I knew I had chosen a great place to buy my car. I one. From the moment I sent my first email inquiring about the car to the time I made the purchase I knew I had chosen a great place to buy my car. I felt that the salesman I worked with, Luigi Miceli, did an excellent job. I would most definately recommend this dealership, and this salesman, to a friend. I am very happy with both the purchase I made and the place I made it. More
My TSX purchase was a stress free experience. Andy is very knowledgeable of the vehicles he represents. The vehicle was delivered in showroom condition and the overall experience with Acura of Libertyvil very knowledgeable of the vehicles he represents. So far I am happy with my purchase and plan on visiting Andy again for my next Acura. More
Both salesmen were very attentive to my needs, and were able to work with me and my restricted time availability. I did not feel pressured into making any big decisions. Very good customer service, very ac able to work with me and my restricted time availability. I did not feel pressured into making any big decisions. Very good customer service, very active listeners, and an overall amazing visit. I made no concrete decisions on my first stop in, as i was generally unsure, i didn't get that standard guilt trip you get from dealerships when you don't move forward with you vehicle of interest. The next morning i was in communication with Craig, as the color i wanted wasn't readily available, he pointed out a few different options, and i ended up going with a color that i hadn't even considered(forged silver), based on his reccomendation. I would reccomend this dealership to anyone consumer who would appreciate down to earth, customer centric, pressure free associates, who are sincere, and whom you can trust. More
A Great Experience! I had been kicking around the idea of buying a New Car for several months with Glenn Bockwinkel. I never felt pressured to buy at any time. When you look up the word "Patience" in the dictionary you will see his picture there. Thanks again, Glenn! More
Courteous, patient salespeople. Excellent new owner classes. No matter how many questions I asked, Craig and Scott were patient and informative. The dealership is clean and the customer area is nicely classes. No matter how many questions I asked, Craig and Scott were patient and informative. The dealership is clean and the customer area is nicely appointed with leather chairs, internet access, really good coffee and light snacks. Overall a great experience. All dealerships should treat their customers and prospective customers so well. More
Worst experience ever. I walked into this dealership and was immediately judged by my young age (although I could've paid cash for the car-didn't matter to them). Long story short, I went back to negotiate was immediately judged by my young age (although I could've paid cash for the car-didn't matter to them). Long story short, I went back to negotiate price after debating about the car for 2 weeks. This was my first car purchase, so to me, it was a big and stressful decision. The employee was horribly impatient and rude, I quote, said "I was wasting my time." After that, I was infuriated by him and walked away. They called me the next day and told me they'd lower the price if I came back. After considering the car and setting aside a horrible employee, I went back for one more shot. I was later told I was "badgering" and being difficult. I don't care if I am looking into a new Acura, or a used Chevy, a car sale is a car sale and you work retail. Learn patience! I ended up buying the car ONLY due to the reasonable price and I have told EVERY family member, friend, and coworker (and a number of strangers) about their HORRIBLE customer service. My cousin just spent 90,000 on 2 new acuras from McGrath and loved it there. They could've had his sale if they would've treated me better. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! HOwever, if you must, buy from Craig. Excellent with helping me through this issue. More
From my first visit to the dealership through a follow-up "new owner's clinic", the service at Acura of Libertyville was exceptional. Sales person Scott Weidner proved extremely knowledgeable about Acura, it "new owner's clinic", the service at Acura of Libertyville was exceptional. Sales person Scott Weidner proved extremely knowledgeable about Acura, its vehicles, all of their features, sales and leasing options, and about expectations after the sale. Having visited 12 other dealers over six weeks as I narrowed my new vehicle search, Scott stood out as a person of the highest integrity. I am very pleased with my new TL and look forward to having it serviced at Acura of Libertyville. More
No hassle , no pressure salesman that knows the Acura brand. 4th Acura I have purchased from this dealer. Their service department is friendly, and they have kept all of my cars running top notch withou brand. 4th Acura I have purchased from this dealer. I have stopped in to get air in my tires, or just to ask a question about my car and they don't make me wait or feel foolish. More
I just bought a 2010 MDX and my first service visit was unbelievable. I had a question about the nav system and when asked Bruce he told me no. He said get Glen (owner) to do it. I couldn't believe it.. unbelievable. I had a question about the nav system and when asked Bruce he told me no. He said get Glen (owner) to do it. I couldn't believe it...I just laid out $45K and this moron told be I can't help you. WTF! I called Glen and told him and never knew what happened. Did he fire the guy, I would, did he throw my complaint in the trash, did he totally blow it off, and I have no idea. No communication. They got my money so I guess it really doesn't matter. A little follow-up would have been the professional thing to do. Stay away from these guys if you can. I told Acura in Torrance, CA but there's little they can do I guess being over 2,000 miles away and all. They (service guys) have all this tech training but a little common courtesy training would be much better served. HORRIBLE!!! More
My husband and I have been looking for a decent (newer) used MDX or Pilot for several months. While searching on the web we saw several possible options at Acura of Libertyville. My husband called around used MDX or Pilot for several months. While searching on the web we saw several possible options at Acura of Libertyville. My husband called around 5pm to inquire if the several cars we were interested in were still available and which cars qualified for the "special" financing rates. At 6pm, we packed up our two children, drove 1.5 hours, through construction (oh and did I mention I'm 8 months pregnant) to arrive at 7:15pm only to find that miraculously all but one of the cars we called about had sold!! The salesman, who was the person my husband spoke to that afternoon, was a complete jerk and he could not have cared less that his lies had completely inconvenienced us. It took me the ride home (another 1.5 hours) to figure out who he reminded me of . . . the jerky, cheesy salesman "Ellis" from the movie "Die Hard" . . . "Hans, bubby, I'm your white knight". After giving us the run around for two hours, he had the nerve to ask us if he got something in that we might be interested in should he give us a call . . . unbelievable! Needless to say we will NEVER, EVER consider dealing with Acura of Libertyville again . . . and I will be happy to let everyone I know, know about this "adventure". Thanks for nothing Mark! More
