I purchased my Highlander here in 2018, and always had excellent service. David and Nick are two excellent front associates who handle customers professionally and in the past explained your car issues to excellent service. Now McGovern has changed that hands on approach and you receive a text with your maintenance issues and have to ok and sign on line. I thinking you lose that person to person connection. Recently McGovern purchased this dealership and it is my first car maintenance visit under their ownership. I was hesitant about the change in ownership since I read a few negative reviews on line. Especially since McGovern was not honoring “no charge for tire rotation” (if you purchased tires from T of P in the past). Apparently enough individuals complained that McGovern changed their policy at least until April of 2025, so free tire rotation. Why not allow it past April of 2025? As a matter of good faith to your future customers. Maybe McGovern just thinks they have the corner on the Toyota market in Portsmouth? I gave a four star rating, I have to wait and see how the maintenance, pricing goes, how carefully they perform maintenance. While I was there on Saturday, September 14, a few individuals had to bring their cars back because of poor repairs, one gentleman had leakage, another a gasket issue. I heard conversations in the waiting room. Not good PR. More
