purchased a 2013 subaru legacy a month ago. Jim Hines was the salesperson. He was excellent. He was low-key, respectful and not in a hurry. The purchase price of the new car was not in question. Bethany June the salesperson. He was excellent. He was low-key, respectful and not in a hurry. The purchase price of the new car was not in question. Bethany Juneau quoted me a fair price over the internet. She was a joy to deal with. Trade- in negotiations are never pleasant. I was low- balled at first, but Jim negotiated in good faith. In the end, the trade- in was increased and we came to an agreement. The deck is really stacked against the consumer in the trade- in process. This is the second Subaru that I purchased from village subaru. I returned there because I had a great buying and service experience with my 2007. Recently, I had an odd rattle coming from the front when I depressed the brake pedal on the 2013. The service department discovered that the ac lines/ hoses were rattling against the firewall...fixed. Rather than dismiss my concern, the service department took it seriously. I have always been given great service there. I highly recommend this dealership. Seek out Jim Hines and get an Internet quote from Bethany Juneau. You won't be disappointed. great dealership! More

Generally, I loathe the car buying experience but Anthony and all the other staff at Village made it an enjoyable experience. Anthony was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was no haggling, which is really what I dislike about car buying, and we were quickly able to agree on a deal that all were happy with. On top of that, I needed a tight turnaround due to my commuting needs and Anthony went out of his way on a holiday shortened week to meet my needs. I cant say enough positive things about him. More

I did't get much wiggle room on the price of the Outback, but they were pretty competitive in terms of how much they would give me for my trade-in. Anthony was not pushy, took me on a test drive, explained everything about the car. The process of registering the car, getting plates, etc went very smoothly and one week later I was able to pick up the car. I would recommend this dealer and Anthony to anyone looking for a new Subaru. More
I went into the dealership with my kids and tow with the purpose of test driving a car, seeing what my trade would be worth and better understanding what deals were possible on a used Legacy. To my sur purpose of test driving a car, seeing what my trade would be worth and better understanding what deals were possible on a used Legacy. To my surprise, my sales representative, Anthony, was responsive, asked what my goals were, answered my questions and then told what was and what was not possible with regards to my new vehicle pricing. From there, he left me to make a buying decision rather than put pressure on me which is typical of most car dealerships. I will certainly recommend Anthony and Village Subaru again. Best, Bryan. Bought my car from this dealership having no problems throughout the entire sale. Gave me a great number on my trade, great number on the new car. Everything was smooth until after the transaction. F throughout the entire sale. Gave me a great number on my trade, great number on the new car. Everything was smooth until after the transaction. First the car was not prepped correctly. I asked to see if I could have it delivered a day early, and was given a very positive YES from John Olsen. Now if you did not have the time or staff to prep it properly for me early, then say no! Don't promise something and only deliver half. So took delivery a day early without Frank. What can I say, I was excited. Found the car half prepped. All the adhesives from the white covers were still on the paint, tire pressure was at the 40PSI Subaru delivers their cars with, my all weather floor mats were placed ON TOP OF the carpet mats. Thanks guys, I could have done a better job. Also had alignment issues from day 1 after taking delivery and getting alignment after alignment, guess what the problem was. Tire pressures were all out of whack. Found out they were set way higher than spec, causing my alignment to feel terrible. Good thing it only took one appointment at another dealership. Second, dealership did not pay off my trade. I called repeatedly and was given excuse after excuse. There really are no excuses. Had legal advice during the entire time and only saw action when I physically walked into the dealership asking for paperwork. Paperwork did not exist until I walked in even though was told it was done weeks before. Took 26 days before I saw the 0 in my balance with my old loan. Trustworthy? Not so much. Then came the service. I thought after they made it right, that I could still come here for service. Did that and walked away not impressed. Every dealer in the area offers free inspections of all fluids, tire pressure, etc, even fill my windshield fluid every time and include a car wash. Not this place. Only got the bare minimum, the oil change I paid for. So needless to say, I'd rather drive elsewhere to get MUCH BETTER service and reliability. Tread carefully at this dealership. While reviews on here sound great, my experience was less than desirable. I have switched all my services to another dealership rated much better! They give me 110 percent on service. If this dealership expects to succeed in the future, better step it up. I really expected more. Sorry we couldn't do business anymore. My money is better spent elsewhere. More
We had a wonderful experience purchasing a Subura Impreza. Senior Sales representative Anthony Romano was friendly, patient and knowledgable. Initially we were not sure which model car best met our Impreza. Senior Sales representative Anthony Romano was friendly, patient and knowledgable. Initially we were not sure which model car best met our needs (which included a new teenage driver in the mix). Anthony spent a lot of time educating us and encouraged us to test drive several different models. He and his manager went above and beyond by working very hard to find us the exact car we wanted. We wanted one specific color and certain features (nag/rear camera) and he found us the ONE available in the northeast. We appreciate the extra attention we received. More
I've always been a Toyota buyer and I only stopped into Village Subaru because Toyota has nothing exciting this year. It's a good thing that I did, because I met Senior Sales Representative Anthony Ro into Village Subaru because Toyota has nothing exciting this year. It's a good thing that I did, because I met Senior Sales Representative Anthony Romano and had the best buying experience in a long, long career. Anthony never pushed but he was a great educator. He made sure that I knew in detail what I would be getting for my money with an Outback, so there wouldn't be any surprises. The test drives were actually fun and he never, ever condescended to me: he always acted as if my satisfaction were more important than his selling the car, and I'm sure that he was sincere about that. At the closing he didn't pressure, but he did let me know what the bottom line was likely to be, just to set expectations. Although Subarus aren't cheap, I feel like I got good value for my money, so I'm happy with the deal. Christopher Wright is the Business Manager for Village Subaru, and he handled the money part of the transaction quickly and efficiently and even knew how to handle the situation of my tradein's missing title. I love it when a deal goes smoothly, without surprises. So I used to be a Toyota guy and maybe someday I'll go back to them, but right now I'm a Subaru partisan because Village Subaru is such a great place to do business. More
I had a great experience with Bethany. She directly gave her bottom line regarding the price. Because we already had the prices from other dealers, so we felt her price was good and was close to our price, her bottom line regarding the price. Because we already had the prices from other dealers, so we felt her price was good and was close to our price, which made the negotiating process much easier. I like her working style. It is straightforward and simply. And she is a certified staff dealing with RMV problem. So she can directly finish the work at scene which is supposed to go to RMV office. More
My wife and I had been holding off on buying a 3rd car for about a year.... we had real anxiety about the whole process, but with our oldest son getting ready to start driving, we really couldn't stall an for about a year.... we had real anxiety about the whole process, but with our oldest son getting ready to start driving, we really couldn't stall any longer. The plan was for my wife to finally get a new daily driver and the 9+ year old mini-van would be freed up for our son to use. We had 4 requirements: 1) My wife had to really LOVE the new car 2) Our boys are over 6 feet tall and so am I. We wanted something that we could ALL be comfortable in 3) Gas mileage 4) AWD for safety during our New England winters I researched "Cars for Tall People" on the internet and found the Forester was one of the top picks. We found Village Subaru online and saw a large selection of new as well as Certified Pre-Owned cars available. My next step was to fill out the online finance application. We got an email back from Bethany Juneau, the Bus. Dev. Manager. She had some follow up questions and wanted to know when we could come in to look around. We really only had one day/time that would work for us due to busy schedules, so we set that date and went in. Can't really describe it, but the anxiety that had built up in my wife and I just disappeared when we met Erik Holm in the sales dept. We talked about our requirements (above) and he indicated that the Outbacks were very comfortable for tall guys too, not just the Forester. I left my winter jacket on and climbed into the display Outback they had in the showroom. He was right... very comfortable and tons of room. This led to a test drive of an Outback as well as a Forester. They were both very nice, but my wife was hooked on the Outback (see requirement 1 above). Next we started talking about the idea of a CPO car instead of brand new. Erik showed us a 2012 CPO Outback 2.5 Premier in Ruby Red Pearl with 11,000 miles on it. This was THE car for us. Which led us to Chris Wright in the Finance Dept. We talked, briefly actually, about where we wanted to be and just like that it was done, and at a great rate. We included an extended warantee at a very good price to boot. So all of this was on a Thursday evening and took maybe 1 - 2 hours total. We came in the next night about 30 minutes before they closed and were gone with hour new car in 20 minutes. I really cannot imagine how this sales experience could have gone better for us. I will look forward to a similar review once we've had an opportunity to work with the Service department. More
