As consumers who like to do the majority of their research in the comfort of their own home for significant purchases, I must say that we were pleasan As consumers who like to do the majority of their research in the comfort of their own home for significant purchases, I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the reception and atmosphere that we experienced at McGovern Hyundai. The stress free, low pressure approach was certainly at odds from what we have have experienced in the past with other auto manufacturers and dealerships. When we were done- we both looked at each other and remarked "now that wasn't bad at all". The competition should take a page out of McGovern Hyundai's book. We were equally impressed by the product knowledge that salesman Jeff Sweeney displayed and conveyed to us by way of a patient tutorial of all the features that our car possesses. Not only did he do this despite a driving rain outside, but he also followed up with us a couple of days later to ask if we had any questions and to see how things were going. He actually volunteered his cellphone number as well. Unfortunately, many dealers and salespeople don't want to know you once the vehicle is turned over and the deal finalized. The kind of customer service that Jeff Sweeney provided we do not take for granted. He is a credit to a profession that often gets a bad rap. More
