Great customer attention. They get the car right in and have a comfortable waiting room. Fortunately I did not have to wait long at all for a major service appointment. Each person seems to know exactly where they are going and what they are doing. Very pleasant...almost like dining at an upscale restaurant without the food...but short walk for breakfast or lunch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, the Giacchino brothers, who seem to be genuinely caring and bring an air of fun to their job....sort of like the Marx brothers! When employees appear to enjoy their work it is testament to a first class business! I actually enjoy bringing my car in for service. This is my second honda from this dealer. I'm sure it won't be my last. More
I was traveling on buiness in the MA area and my check engine light came on at around 4:30PM. Being 400 miles from home with a number of miles ahead of me, it was urgent that I get the issue addressed imm engine light came on at around 4:30PM. I called the dealership, hoping that I would be able to get my car in for a repair before the shop closed. Eric Marcello was able to arrange for a rental car that evening and had my car prioritized in the next days schedule so that I could make it back home. I appreciated the efforts of the Service Department at Honda Cars of Boston, Everett and would recommend them. They even washed my car which was an unexpected bonus. This is my 2nd Car I have leased/purchased from Honda Cars of Boston. I have dealt with John both times and will never deal with another company. Every employee that was on staff that day made their presence known to both my wife and I and made us feel at home. John is very knowledgable with the products he sells and continues his service even after you have brought the car home. I will continue to travel there for all service related issues because the people there make all the difference. He actually listened to the problem and accepted my knowledge of the issue which made the effective repair of the problem so much faster. Roberto and Ben took the extra time and effort to make sure my husband and I had Honda Cars of Boston really know how to connect with the customers. Roberto and Ben took the extra time and effort to make sure my husband and I had the best experience. We went into Honda Cars of Boston to get a 20,000 mile check up on our 2008 Honda Civic lease and were able to get into a Hybrid and end our lease early. Rob and Ben were so helpful throughout the process we ended up signing a new lease for a 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid without any complications. I am definitely going to return to Honda Cars of Boston for future inquiries for cars. More
I had trouble with Kelly Honda on Lynnway in Lynn with a waranty issue. They were friendly but didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. I told them on the phone it was for a recall, and when I got th waranty issue. They were friendly but didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. I told them on the phone it was for a recall, and when I got there they ask what recall it was. My car only had one recall, they can't even tell by the car model and year what recall it was? I also asked them to look at the radio as it was an issue I've seen posted on the web. They told me there was nothing they could do. It wasn't until I called Honda USA HQ, that I found out that they extended the waranty of the radio to 7years/100k miles. This dealership did everything that was ask and were great. I would definately come here again. More
After having a really bad experience with Honda North, I contacted Honda Cars of Boston for service to my Warrantied 2006 Honda Pilot. (Which Honda North claimed was not warrantied) I spoke to Eugene on t contacted Honda Cars of Boston for service to my Warrantied 2006 Honda Pilot. (Which Honda North claimed was not warrantied) I spoke to Eugene on the phone first, and he said he would gladly check out the noise my engine was making. Upon finding that it was something in the short block part of the engine, he called me to tell me that he had already ordered the part and it would be done the next day under full warranty. Eugene really changed my bad feelings for Honda dealers with his way of treating his customers. He treats customers like gold, and it shows!! I have a new service department that I feel I can trust. Eugene really made a difference to me. I had worked in Customer Service for over 18 years, and I feel I know good customer service when I see it. Honda North could use a few Eugene's on their staff!! They were no help at all, just claimed it wasn't covered and gave me an estimate of over $5000.00 to fix. I'm glad I went the extra few miles out of my way to have Eugene help me. My mother and I had originally gone to Honda Cars of Boston for her new car and were right away impressed with John's salesmanship. We didn't end up buying from him but when it came time to buy my own c Boston for her new car and were right away impressed with John's salesmanship. We didn't end up buying from him but when it came time to buy my own car we knew exactly where to go. We're generally gullible saps and almost went with an offbeat Motel strip used car lot, but thought we'd visit John before deciding for sure. Very glad we did. John helped us out and sympathized right away with us but getting the car from him wasn't what impressed us. When we came back to pick up the car, my mother wasn't feeling well and we were constantly getting back and forth service from everyone around us except John. He was there to kick everyone in the pants while at the same time looking out for us while we were there. I voted 4s and 5s from the overall dealership but if I was just giving numbers to John it'd be all 6s! hands down. More
