Take your business elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect and courtesy. They'll do anything to make an extra buck off you and laugh at you while they do it. They dont check their work when they're done either. Car broke down a few miles down the road after they 'fixed it'. Stay away. More

I took my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 to this dealership for a broken gas gauge. The first time I took it there they told me they the part was on back order. I finally got a call from them 3 weeks later and I took the truck in to get fixed. They called me back and said the truck was all set. After I picked the truck up I went straight to the gas station because they drained my tank bone dry and of course the gas gauge didn't move. I called them and they told me to bring it back the next day. So I did and when I was there I asked why they didn't put any gas back in it to see if it worked? They basically said that they didn't think it was necessary. So I left it there for the day again. I actually went back before they called me to come get it because I left something in the truck. When I got there a kid was pulling in with the truck and I asked him if it was all set and he said he thought so. I asked him if he put gas in it to see if the gauge moved and he said no. So I went in and talked to the mechanic who assured me it was fixed. I asked him how does he know that without putting gas in it. He basically told me that he could just tell by feeling how much gas was in the tank and what the gauge read. I gave him the benefit of doubt and off to the gas station I went. To my disbelief I filled the tank up again and it didn't move again . I called them again and they told me to bring it back again. So now a third time there and they told me to come and get that it was all set. I asked if they put gas in it to make sure and they told me that I have to pay for the gas. This is after they drained my tank on 2 different occasions. I told Dave finnegan that I thought this was unfair and that I still don't know if it's fixed and to be honest neither do yo if you didn't put gas in it to see if the gauge moved. I wasn't looking for a full tank of gas just enough to make the needle move. Dave basically told me to f*** myself and if it's not fixed take it back to central dodge where I bought it. I would be ashamed of my employee if I were the owner of this dealership. He is a trash mouth and she be fired immediately. More

After my I purchased a 2011 Grand Cherokee from Baystate Jeep. While traveling in the middle of New York City my brakes failed and I was stranded. After my vehicle being stuck in NYC for (2) days I was finally able to get it towed to a Connecticut Jeep dealership to be repaired since Baystate would not offer any assistance. After (2) separate round trips to the CT Jeep dealer from MA I have my vehicle back. The brake booster failed in the Jeep which is an essential required component needed to stop the vehicle properly. After speaking with the General Manager at Baystate Jeep Dodge, he told me the failure was not a safety issue therefore Baystate would not help. Keep in mind I have only driven the vehicle roughly 2,600 miles since the purchase. I was baffled by his response, I was unable to stop the vehicle as designed and it was inoperable and he had the nerve to tell me that this was not a safety issue. As the conversation was coming to a close and very evident that Baystate would not be upholding their “Warranty” he told me that we could settle in court. I was shocked that the GM of a dealership would tell a customer that in order to get something fixed or attempt to be reimbursed for costs as a result of the failure I would have to take them to court. I recently purchased a 2011 wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from a non Jeep dealer in the area. The vehicles first owner had mis-placed parts of the soft top. The dealership asked me to have the soft top ins from a non Jeep dealer in the area. The vehicles first owner had mis-placed parts of the soft top. The dealership asked me to have the soft top inspected for a previous recall and to put together a parts list that they would then purchase. I explained the situation to the Bay State Service Manager and asked if someone could help me put the soft top up, check the recall and put together a parts list. I then explained that I lived close and would be using Bay State for service related issues and maintenance of this vehicle. The manager gave me a song and dance about having to stretch the roof fabric and also that the top probably wouldnt match new windows so I should just buy a whole new top. I then asked what he would charge to just put the top up, inspect it and put together a missing parts list. $150.00 is what it would cost for this service at Bay State! I then went home and in ten minutes put the top up and made a list of the needed parts. When I returned to Bay State I asked the Service Manager if it was a normal practice to take advantage of their customers? I received a shrug. When I approached the General Manager his responce was simply that he was sorry. This was a great test and suffice to say I will not be going to Bay State again. More
I had brought my Dodge Ram 2500 to Baystate dealership in Newton on November 22nd, 2011 and they repaired a transfer fuel pump @ a cost of $721.02 and picked it up on November 25th, 2011. On December 1st, 20 Newton on November 22nd, 2011 and they repaired a transfer fuel pump @ a cost of $721.02 and picked it up on November 25th, 2011. On December 1st, 2011, one week later, I had the truck towed back to them because it was having trouble starting, and staying started. On December 5th, they told me that I needed to replace the high pressure fuel pump and it would cost $3000.00 and never checked the part they just replaced a week prior. They just said they checked the pressure and that was ok. I had to pay another $352.50 in labor to them and I then had the truck towed somewhere else @ a cost of $105.00 and they found that the transfer fuel pump replaced in Newton was cracked and that was causing the issues. I had to pay another $681.99 for that repair plus the cost of having a rental car during all this. I went to the Baystate with the repair bill and the cracked part and asked to be reimbursed for the first repair of $721.02 that obviously was not done properly. They said they would have to do some research, which I completely understood and gave them the time to follow up. I touched base over the next few weeks and was told they were waiting on something from the other repair shop and then they had to wait to see if the part would be warrantied by Chrysler, the maker of the part. Everytime I spoke to Dave, I let him know that reimbursement of the $220.00 part would not be satisfactory to me, as I felt they should not make me pay for labor for a job not done properly. I received a voicemail yesterday, January 11th, 2012, from Dave stating they have a check for me in the amount of $267.05 for the part plus tax. I left him a message to call me, and in speaking with him this morning, he stated that was all they were willing to do because I chose to take it somewhere else and that I didn't give them a chance to make it right. I reiterated that they had the chance when I brought it back a week later and they had it for four days and never looked at the part they replaced and that they do not stand behind their own work. At this time, I was again told that the part was the only thing warrantied and that was all they could do, so I told him that I was not accepting that check and would be in touch. He then told me that if I bought an appliance @ Sears and it broke but I had the repair done through Target, Sears would not cover that repair either. I bet if Sears was given four days to fix it, they would cover the cost if they couldn't. He again stated I didn't give them a chance to fix it. It was there for four days the second time, is that not enough time for them? I don't think I am asking too much to expect a certain level of customer service when I spend $1073.52 in one week for something to be fixed. All I want is to get $721.02 back for the money spent the first time I had it there, is that too much to ask? I have never had to go back due to faulty work on a vehicle before and hope I never have to again. I bought a certified pre-owned 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them over a year ago, and I'm overall happy with the car when it's working. Buying a certified pre-owned car, I took the assumption the car wou from them over a year ago, and I'm overall happy with the car when it's working. Buying a certified pre-owned car, I took the assumption the car would not have any major or minor issues, but apparently I was wrong. My jeep has been back to the dealership to be "fixed" over a dozen times so far and it's still not fixed, apparently something as simple as a tire pressure issue is to hard for them. They were nice and helpful when I was purchasing my Jeep and when I signed up for an extended warranty, but when it came to a "simple" tire pressure issue, it was more like pulling teeth with them. It felt like I had to make them believe that there was an actual tire pressure problem after the third time bringing the car into the dealership. A number of times, I had to call the dealership to get answers from questions I asked previously, when they said they would call me and inform me of the answer. Within the last year, I have never seen my car salesman who sold me the Jeep and my original service associate, I can only assume they've been fired or asked to leave. Really disconcerting as a customer when you don't know if your going to have the same service personal you've been working with between services. Bottom line.... Expect good help, but poor knowledge when buying your new/used/pre-owned car from them. Don't expect your car to be fixed the first time, no matter how simple. And they're employees aren't worth befriending, because they probably won't be there for your next oil change. More
FINALLY a great Chrysler dealership.I have dealt with FINALLY a great Chrysler dealership.I have dealt with five different Chrysler/Jeep dealerships since the purchase of my 2005 Chrysler 300 C, FINALLY a great Chrysler dealership.I have dealt with five different Chrysler/Jeep dealerships since the purchase of my 2005 Chrysler 300 C, beginning with Farina Chrysler in Marlboro, Ma where my car was purchased in 2004. The dealership closed approximately two years after i purchased the car. The next dealership was Midway in Framingham, Ma. After they closed down I attended Brigham Gill in Natick Ma followed by Dan's Jeep in Westborough Ma and most recently Clark and White located in Newton, Ma. "Two outta five ain't bad." Both Farina and Clark and White dealerships were the only two that stand out among the rest and have provided me with exceptional customer service. Kudos to Mike Sobchuk for exemplary professionalism, patience, knowledge and honesty. I also want to acknowledge Chuck Sturgeon for his professionalism and also Louis Fouyolle for his help when he didn't have too. I am a new customer to this dealership, but i will continue to give my business to this dealership ship BECAUSE of the men I just mentioned. Sincerely, A. James 05 Chrysler 300 C More
My company car is a Dodge Journey, and because of the newness of the car I am stuck going to a dealership for much of the maintenance and service. Unfortunately this means costly repairs, as they are alw newness of the car I am stuck going to a dealership for much of the maintenance and service. Unfortunately this means costly repairs, as they are always more expensive than other local auto service shops. But the real is issue is their service and speed. they never have the parts in stock for repair and take days I'd not a week to get them. My most recent repair was a coolant tank which was on backorder, and took 5 days to replace. This was a 2 hour job tops, yet I had to get a rental at my expense because a they as a Dodge dealership can get Dodge parts. This is not an isolated instance as I have had delays on other repairs, including a new key, that they could not get replacements for. Also the tell me ever single time that the repair includes a VIP Car Wash, which appears on the bill but never gets done. Clark & White should be avoided for all service. I will never own another Dodge vehicle because of them. More
